Slip mat in tub was extremely slippery and not safe. It was also stuck to tub bottom and could not be removed. The commode was maybe 12” tall and only 12” wide so it was unusable. standard commercial grade commode at least 17” tall and 15” wide. It’s called a thimble commode. Bed had an extra pad on it that kept getting rolled up. Hallways smelled of smoke.

Great staff! Pretty clean considering and older Texas hotel. Most Texas hotels that are older show wear and tear and humid weather takes a toll on the overall hotel rooms.
To access AC/heat unit you have to climb up on to a fabric sitting chair to activate any of the controls. (Would be a challenge for some individuals with limitations or elderly)
Thunderstorm came through and our shower/bath tub backup with water containing black gritty debris.
Overall… room was clean. We would stay again.

Room was a little ragged - broken, discolored, and outdated walls and tub. Bed, however, was one of the most comfortable ever!

This was our second time staying here. We were here for the State Marching Competition at the Alamodome. We walked to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and the Alamodome. The hotel is clean, staff are excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was perfect and kept stocked by staff, even with hundreds of band kids and parents eating. We will stay here every time that we make it to State.

Asked for non-smoking and got smoking. I was really tired and so I went with it. Front desk was nice overall.

Decent place for one night but the pool was empty, our room was clean but super outdated. Noise level was rather loud in the hallway.
