The staff was amazing!!! The room was OK, the shower had some mold on the ceiling, but hey, to just sleep, shower and get on my way, there was no problem. NO bugs so that was important. It was convenient, inexpensive and gave us a place to lay our heads.

Keep in mind This stay is only for people who’s willing to lose their wipers stolen or could be something else. Also, keep in mind, take people who are partying and loud music because they think they can do whatever. Plus, who knows if someone has disease staying at a cheap motel.

Bathroom was dirty. Asked the lady at the desk if they could come in and clean it. She was nice and helpful. Housekeeping came in quickly but then tried to argue with me that it was clean. Even though there was hair and dirt in the shower and the toilet was gross. Also the floor was dusty like its never been mopped or swept. Beds were clean and ac worked good so cant complain much there

Overall clean room. Not fancy but ok for a short Tarleton weekend. The inside has been redone but the bathroom could have a little more done- like covers on vents and door that will close. I will stay here again because the price is right and we spend very little time in our room when we visit my daughter st school.

Basic hotel
This is an older facility. The room has some updates, but there were soft spots in the floor. The walls were thin. The lighting was dim. There were only 2 small bath towels which were thin. There were no tissues and no toiletries offered. The staff were very friendly. This is a very basic hotel, but after hearing a serious domestic situation next door (that shook the walls and vibrated the floor), I personally will not be staying there again.

There aren’t many hotel options in Stephenville, so busy weekends at Tarleton reduce already limited choices for visitors. The Motel 6 was a bit rundown. The pool is permanently closed. Since it is a Motel 6, there are no amenities. Just soap and very small thin towels. The room was clean and the bed was acceptable in comfort. The AC was cold, which was good. The bathroom outlet didn’t work and the light over the sink went out our last morning there. All of this for the low price of $157 a night. But again, this was the best price we could get for Family weekend if we wanted to stay in Stephenville.
