I'm spite of all the negative comments we found this property to be alright given the price point! The room was clean and comfortable and there was no evidence of an unclean condition. Front office staff was courteous and professional.

The room looks great on picture, but the floors were dirty and the towels were very old (white / with yellowish brown stained. Had to go out and by Lysol and my own towels.

The staff member who checked us in did not greet us despite there being no one else in the lobby and she was on a call on what I assume is her personal phone. The hotel is grimy and many room doors had holes at the top or bottom (as if the door was not properly fitted to the frame). I almost gagged when I stepped into our room as I was hit with what I can only describe as moldy milk smell that did not go away at all during our stay, it was so bad I had to buy air fresheners from Walmart just to stay in the room. The bathroom sink had several brown stains and the windows are obviously not cleaned very often as I found where someone else had written “Gross” on it. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

The hotel had us fooled with the online pics. We get there and it’s rundown and dirty. Most things are out of order. There was a cockroach in our room. It was definitely disappointing. I would not recommend this establishment.

After checking in, my son and I went to get something to eat and when we returned another guest informed us he had walked into our room accidentally. The door did not lock and could not lock. We were moved to another room and the key/lock worked. Until we had to run an errand. When we returned, the key would not open the door and couldn't, even after being recoded. The staff had to use an emergency key. All this can be understood, except the staff questioned me about having gone somewhere and then returned a d tried to open the door. These are not guest issues. A working door is not a luxury item at a hotel and with no apology to speak of, I was made to feel the issue was mine. I don't ask for much from a $75 hotel room, but I expect a working door and a staff to own rhe problems in their facitly without tryi g to deflect the issue onto the customer.
