The hotel itself is such a neat little hotel. It was clean, and the staff at the front was very friendly! Melissa, behind the counter, gave me some good recommendations of places I should go to while I was on my visit.
The hotel itself is conveniently located near a lot of shops and major stores. It was easy to find, and I felt very comfortable.

Room was clean and the mattress/pillows were very sleep-inducing! BUT, the shower tub was slippery and there were NO GRAB BARS! We know most of your guests are young and nimble but for we 80 year olds it was a fearful proposition. We wound up putting a towel in the tub to gain some traction. Oh, and the elevator was NOISEY, not safe feeling.

Due to this, we did not have the Handicap Accessible King available otherwise we would have asked you if you would prefer this over the king that you booked. During your stay - the first and second floor kings were already reserved as well so she had to assign you to the third floor. In the future, I would reccomend you to call the hotel days before your stay to make sure you have an Accessible room available so that they can ensure that you have grab bars, shower chairs, and a non slip matt in your room. All of our Accessible rooms have these in the rooms.I do apologize that the staff member did not explain the situation to you. We will ensure she gets more training on regarding guests that may need extra assistance; To explain if we don't have the proper accessories in the rooms that we have available (grab bars). I will also ensure that she offers shower chairs and non slip matts as well. I hope that you can give us another chance in the future!

Honest review.
The room was clean except for a spot in the carpet that was funky feeling. It was a large room but more of a feel of an efficiency apartment. I wasn't able to hear any noise in the hallway from TV's or people speaking or in the room except the guy snoring very loudly next door and the kitchen staff at 1 am when they started to prepare breakfast because my room shared a wall with the kitchen. I was disappointed that there was no healthy alternatives for any with allergies at breakfast.

Rooms are OK, but carpet is wearing out and no hand soap provided in the rooms. A discount was available for those visiting at the Rio Concho like I was. Front desk staff did not know how to apply the discount ("the computer will not let us") so I paid more for the room than I should have. Dollar for dollar, you can get a better value at another hotels another 5 minute drive away. I won't stay there again.

Unfortunately with the discount that you wanted, you booked through *******, that is why we couldn't provide the discount you wished for. When someone books through a third party, we can't provide discounts, change rates, or even change dates. If you were to book through us directly, we would be able to give you that discount and we would happily do it! We explained this situation to you. There was nothing we could do to be able to provide the discount.

Super nice rooms. Had a mini kichen in ours with a sink and 2 burner cooktop built in and a full size fridge. Comfy beds. Clean lobby

I walked around on carpet barefoot that evening and the next morning in shower black stuff came off my feet.
Also I noticed the headboards had greasy looking residue from people heads resting on it so I would say the rooms need a good cleaning!

I spoke to the housekeeping supervisor about the headboard issue and she will ensure that this will not happen again.Our maintenance man has a schedule to shampoo a certain amount of rooms a day and keeps track of which rooms he does to ensure all rooms get shampooed. He does it this way so it doesn't affect how many rooms we can sell as we can't sell a room with wet carpet. I'm sure your room was in rotation and got shampooed soon after you left. I hope you can give us another chance in the future!Thank you

The property was clean, there was a hair tie in the bathtub drain, and food in the kitchen drain.
The cleaning staff didnt make the bed and i had to ask for more towels...
