Great hotel. Friendly helpful staff and excellent rooms. The dining was superb but dodge the buffet and go al la CARTE. It is heaps better value and better range. Breakfast is great.

I booked a room at Protea Blantyre for a few work meetings. The staff here is extremely helpful and kind, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The wifi, however, was quite slow which was a problem for work. I also developed some pretty bad gastrointestinal issues immediately after eating lunch here, which lasted for more than a day. The food itself also wasn't good - I had a salad that was so drenched in dressing it was uneatable. I'm glad for that, though, as I probably would have gotten even sicker if I had finished it.
