We arrived at the hotel full of hope, only to discover that the front desk had gifted us the thrilling experience of walking in on someone already living in our room. Surprise! But credit where it’s due—the staff handled it quickly and upgraded us to a nicer room. The new room had charm… the kind you find in buildings on the verge of remodeling. We were greeted by what we hope were droppings in the corner. The room itself was definitely… “well-loved.” Peeling here and there, stained towels and bedcovers. BUT—the bed was shockingly comfy, which is really all you want when you’re trying to ignore the rest of your surroundings. On the bright side, the TV was huge, the A/C worked like a dream, and the staff was super friendly (which is helpful when you need emotional support after walking into a stranger’s room and sleeping next to mystery poop). All in all: would I stay again? Maybe.

Do NOT stay here! The female staff lady chased me down the hall saying something about keeping her floors clean, not sure why, floors were filthy! Bathroom had hair trimmings in toilet, shower amenities were strewn on the floor, no breakfast, female staff lady was extremely rude to the male staff guy about making sure before we check out that he throughly check the room especially the floor and bed to make sure they aren’t messed up. Booked a king size bed but was told they didn’t have it so given two doubles. Room has roaches, place very run down. Only stay if absolutely necessary, that’s the only reason we were there

MOLD ALL OVER THE BED! Not dirt, not stains, MOLD. This place is so nasty it shouldn't even be allowed to be open. I know cheap motels/hotels can be a little gross sometimes but this place is disgusting, and I could list 10 more things in this room that I've never seen in 20 years of staying at cheap motels/hotels. I thought all the bad reviews were just people being overdramatic, nope they're all accurate. I've never walked out of a hotel I paid for before but there is no amount of money you could pay me to stay in this place. All the response comments from the management saying they will immediately address the issues are a joke, they haven't cleaned or put a dollar into fixing this place. If you're in Havelock please stay anywhere but here!

Maintenance was obviously lacking, No pool and no breakfast despite the website saying they were available. No housekeeping after 3:00PM. A 1970's bad leftover.

Didn’t even stay it was so disgusting. Reaked. Musty, wet towels everywhere. No AC and the rooms were even worse. Attendant was no where to be found when cancellation was requested . Corporate needs to start looking into this place and provide refunds!!!!

Do not under any circumstances stay here. It is clear this hotel is used for one thing and one thing only. I stopped here with my child at 1am as a road trip pit stop. I was driving so couldn't read the reviews. Got there,the room was filthy,sheets torn and dirty and the smell of mildew was overwhelming. It was unsafe. The neighbors wereeeee loud and I just got the worst feeling it my gut. We moved rooms,dragged my stuff up the creepiest,dirtiest stairwell only to find our new room already open,dirty linens all over the bed. I told my son we were leaving. Went about 0.5 miles down the road for a much safer,cleaner stay. This place, is a cover for something else. It isnt an actual hotel and I'm extremely disappointed in humanity after seeing that building in operation. Have some pride in yourselves.
