The room was very clean, and smelled wonderful. The hotel appeared to be having some work done in the hall area outside our room and had a bit of an uncomfortable smell in that area, but that did not leak into the room.

It was quiet and rather empty because it was off season. I didn't see many staff members though they always came when I rang the bell. The pool and Jacuzzi were a plus. Everything was fairly clean, but some paint peeling from the ceiling in our room and touches of mold in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have one of the fireplaces lit in the evening.

I’m horrified . They gave me a room key and when I went to open there was a dirty room with what I thought was a man in the shower. I’m so upset because I travel alone and this could’ve been potentially so dangerous . They had extremely poor service recovery too I asked to be transferred to a better a room because I was really upset and they said they wouldn’t do that for me even though the situation was very scary the person working the front desk took zero accountability. It makes me feel like my safety is at risk or that they could potentially give my room key to a stranger. I will be following up this is unacceptable and frankly very dangerous .

With a little maintenance and carpet cleaning or replacement, this place could be 4-5 stars. The breakfast was typical, but the pre wrapped hostess was not very good.

do you feeling your feet stick to the carpet? I don't. The room was a "non-smoking" room. but it had obviously been a smoking section of the hotel in the past. no matter how hard you try, that smell isn't going away. I'd never stay here again.

Overall nice stay. Breakfast could be extended to 10am and you could really use a second waffle maker. Room was clean but wall lamp over nightstand was very wobbly, no usb ports to charge phones, chair was broken and second top lock was broken.
