Staff was very courteous, rooms were well taken care of and well equipped; except, there was no safe; yet, we loved staying at this hotel.

the room had a really strong smell of chemical cleaning products and our sink was clogged from the moment we got there. also tv has poor channel selections.

The ceiling tile in the bathroom where the fan/light was attached was not secure. A potential injury to a patron should it have fallen.

A few things that I would recommend changing. When guests are in the hotel The Do Not Disturb signs on the door mean just that DO NOT DISTURB. This hotel has a MANDATORY MONDAY WEDNESDAY FRIDAY rule of coming into your room for “Inspection” with your placard on the door or not the Room Service staff will enter your room to clean it and inspect it. I am an adult not a child. If I am paying for a room and do not want anyone to enter the room I believe I should reserve the right to opt out of unwanted entry into a room I am technically renting for that period of time. Something to think about if you do not want staff to enter your room while you are not there. Area is quiet rooms are Average nowhere I would want to stay more than a day or two. Complimentary breakfast is SUPER SKIMPY Only Hot food is waffles. There are many other hotels in the area at the same price that offer much much more. I would personally skip this property and move on to one just a little bit better for the same or close to the same price. SAFE TRAVELS !!

The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The shower was not fully cleaned and the water was cold.
At check in, the staff member said we would be charged a deposit, but that he could not accept credit cards. At 11:00 pm we had a choice of finding a new hotel or giving him a paper copy of my credit card which was very insecure. We should not have been asked to make that choice. I could have paid him a smaller amount in cash but that was not acceptable. When we returned to check out in the morning, I asked the new staff member to shred the information and accept the lesser amount in cash but that staff member, and someone hiding in the back room both repeated that they had to keep the copy of my credit card in order to collect the fee. I felt I had not other option except to contact the corporate headquarters. Someone now has a paper copy of my credit card and I will be checking for unauthorized charges and credit card fraud.

The staff were good. The room wasn’t very clean. There were hairs in the sink, white powder in corners of the floor and the floor hadn’t been mopped recently. After showering my feet were very dirty after walking on the floors for only a minute or two.
