Room smelled of smoke and air freshener. We requested non smoking but it didn’t seem to be a NS room. There were some holes in the ceiling and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Overall I would not stay again or recommend the hotel. Told the front desk about the problem in the bathroom and he didn’t seemed concerned. I thought we would save a little money since we were getting in late and leaving first thing but overall it wasn’t worth the money saved.

DON'T STAY HERE!! GO ELSEWHERE!
First off, this building is so run down and is in desperate need of repair. I have stayed in other Super 8s and they never looked this bad!
I requested a non smoking room. However, it was clearly evident by the room smell that some people had smoked in there.
The pillows were flat, and the sheets/blankets needs replacing. When I pulled back the covers there were cigarette burns in the blankets and the sheets were scorched. Also I found hairs on the ceiling in the shower and the walls. Everything just nasty and sticky. I didn't even want to dry off using with their towels as I didn't trust their cleanliness. The bathroom air vents were dirty and the shower head was full of mineral deposits.
There was a bug in the room on the ceiling. Couldn't tell if it was dead or not but I had monitored it and it didn't seem to move at all while I was there. I even had to sleep with the lights on because I didn't trust anything in that room or around me. I travel solo quiet extensively and never felt unsafe until this stay.
Listen, unless you are on a tight budget, just looking for a really cheap place to crash for a couple of hours and take a hot shower, then this is your place!
But if you want someplace where the property is clean, well maintained, and secured, then I would suggest staying somewhere else! Spend the money to stay in a higher quality hotel that doesn't smell like bad decisions and regret!

Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel, but for what it is it's great. Rooms are clean, air/heat work well, beds are extremely comfy. The staff I've encountered has always been pleasant and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect: Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens are both less than 15 mins away and there are some great dining options & grocery/convenience stores in walking distance. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times and have never had a bad experience.

Overall hotel was ok. Bathroom was a little creepy as both the shower head and the air vent both had tape holding them up. I felt like someone was watching me. There was also a couple of bugs in there.

So disappointing. Don’t recommend
Hotel is totally misrepresented. Pool is the size of a hot tub. Not “on the beach” and there is NO ocean view. Owner agreed to refund my money as i then booked at sister hotel that Was on the beach ( as I was supposed to meet family at the surestay ON THE BEACH) they have the same name& are on the same street. I paid for both hotels & have yet to receive refund. Extremely disappointed. Makes them and this site look dishonest.

When I went into the room I lifted the bed to look for bedbugs and a German cockroach crawled out from the bed frame. So I pulled off the sheets and there was another one! I went down and told the man at the desk and he was very nice and gave us another room. And I searched it for bugs and did not find any, so we stayed. I would have switched hotels but we got there at 1 am so it was too late to book another hotel.

我预订了一间无烟房，结果却被安排到一间烟味十足的房间。冰箱脏兮兮的，房间陈旧不堪。折叠沙发又旧又不舒服。客房服务人员给我们补充了毛巾，但没有整理床铺。我们住了一晚，第二天晚上醒来发现床上有蟑螂，所以我们提前一天退房，按理说应该可以退款，但到现在还没到。泳池还行，很干净。
可惜的是，空调声音太大了。隔壁几个年轻人像**一样尖叫，所以我搬到了离办公室更近的地方。好在工作人员很友好，虽然当时是半夜，也没有额外收费。
