Check in was good the toilet was wobbly there was crying baby next door we could hear the people upstairs the breakfast was cereal milk waffles OJ no coffee muffins or fruit had to chexk out online because there was Noone at the front desk for over 30 minutes left the keys behind the counter

when my mother made the reservations for the two rooms they were to be next to each other but when she checked us in they told her that one was on the first floor and the second was on the second floor

Pluses: Parking was convenient, well-lit and area seemed safe with convenient dining and shopping. Check-in was quick, though standard paper-based form surprised me as I'd already checked in online. Efficient desk clerk. Room had a microwave and refrigerator; both clean. Air conditioner was effective, especially on 'Dry' setting which really helped reduce initial clammy feel. Comfortable mattress. Good Internet. Cool Lone Star wall mural. Minus side: overall dated look to room with general scent of stale cigarettes and damp basement. Bed had what appeared to be mini-pillows, couch was stained, and lampshades had brown spots (hopefully just cigarette burns). No USB ports so bring your own. Breakfast was rudimentary: waffles, cereal, coffee, orange juice and microwaveable mini sausage biscuits. I did not give a below-average review because unfortunately, based on recent stays at other hotels - including Super 8s - conditions once unacceptable even within this price range now seems standard thanks probably to years of inflation.

Hotel was convenient for last minute. Room was not clean and had to ask for towels from front desk. The night clerk and morning clerk were not the nicest people when checking in and out and asking for towels that should have been in room. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal, some breakfast bars, water, coffee and milk.
