Hotel is convenient to shops and some restaurants but also adjacent to active railroad tracks. Property is clean but pool was very cold. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff. But rooms (we moved once) had noisy HVACs. And first floor rooms were overrun with soccer kids and moms beyond 11:00 pm. (Moved again, upstairs.) Breakfast was disappointing: no fruit, only one yogurt. Bare bones, not like last time.

Front desk staff was helpful and changed my room instantly when I informed them of a maintenance issue and an ybclean bathroom. The room they moved me to wasn't that bad. However, I could barely sleep because people were in and out the side door, the railroad directly behind the hotel was extremely loud, kids/teenagers running up and down the hall screaming and when I picked up the phone to report, I found out it wasn't working. I also had to use a bookmarking clip to close my door tight. I didn't try breakfast, it was too crowded and the area is not that big. The upside of being at Wingate by Wyndham is the convenience of being near most of the shops. I don't think I'll atay at this particular hotel again unless I'm on the top floor.
