The room was clean and the staff were helpful. It was difficult to find the right Windgate because there are two by the same name that are 15 minutes apart. Make sure you have the right address.

Staff courteous. Very old motel, shower was an old style cubicle, not inviting at all. Updates need updating.

The thermostat for the room did not work properly. Either it blew cold air when on heat or you had to set it at 80 to get heat. Shower shampoo was empty! Room was marginally clean as there was residue of something on the floor.

Beds were extremely noisy and difficult to stay sleeping when you or someone else moves. Some loud drama down the hall which they had no control over, but I was in a room that had an adjoined room and it was as though the people were actually in my room. Could clearly hear ever word! Terrible nights’ sleep for us!

When we arrived the desk manager, Mr. Patel, was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they're putting a lot of care into switching owners. He gave us a little treat bag and check in was easy. We were driving and stopped here for one night so you don't expect much. But not only was it clean and friendly, the beds and pillows were actually comfortable! Like real pillows and blankets! I know y'all know what I'm saying. For the price this place was the Taj Mahal of 2 star hotels. Hot breakfast free in the morning and Mr. Patel was there in the morning fixing an issue in his street clothes. That's care and dedication people!

As soon as you walked in, it smells terrible and under the staircase there was a bunch of junk and dirt very nasty not a very welcoming place
