Our room was not clean and along our stay we would find things as if the room was being worked on wires debre as if things had been sanded and left as is as well as hair. We complained. I burned a sandlewood scented candle that was left at all times in the bathroom as a courtesy during a BM. The manager says well there was cigarette smoke. Wrong because I haven’t smoked tobacco since 15 and I’m almost 50. Videos would clearly show where we went each time “outside” on grounds! She then went to say about a no open flame! It’s stated all over the place about a smoke free facility but nothing about a candle or what scent of candle to burn. So why would I picka room right next to front desk on the first floor to smoke in the room? Please! She says she makes the decision and will not refund it and there was no one above her and hung up! I am insulted. I also asked her was the room suppose to be rented with obvious repair work having been done but not cleaned up. I texted the co dictions as well during our stay. Someone showed up @10 to clean when we check out @12. Bathroom right there burning the candle but he didn’t say anything. This was my first time
Being accused of anything such as this from hotels to air bnb and if a candle can’t be burned then it should be stated!

Being accused of smoking when you hadn’t only added to that frustration, and I hear that.At checkout, however, the room was inspected and did have a noticeable smoke odor. As a 100% smoke‑free property, we’re required to take rooms with smoke smells out of service for an additional cleaning and deodorizing process. Because of this, we were unable to sell the room the following night. The extra cleaning does come at a cost, which is why the cleaning fee was applied.We understand that not receiving a refund is disappointing, and this is never the experience we want for our guests. Your feedback is important, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

The young man at the desk was just so pleasant. The hotel was clean and neat. I was happily surprised and plan to stay here again.

Booked a double queen room for my husband and adult daughter. Upon check in they were informed that no double queen rooms were available and the only option was a king suite. My husband spent the night on a very uncomfortable pullout bed. I understand that booking errors occur, but paying almost $200 a night for a terrible nights sleep is not something anyone wants to do.

The room was clean and nice. The assistant manager (I think her name was Shaugnate) was very helpful and had a wonderful personable attitude. I hope you do everything to keep her, and make an effort to hire more people like her.

I was skeptical because of the area around the property but this hotel was tucked away and was very nice outside and inside. New, updated rooms.. very spacious and room. Very clean, staff was friendly as well

When we arrived, we found a wash cloth leftover from a prior guest hanging in the shower and there was hair on the “clean” towels hanging up. None of the functions on our TV worked, and both times we asked about it and were told someone would come up and look, nobody ever did. The beds were horribly uncomfortable as well. We definitely will not be coming back to this location.

The staff was friendly and we felt safe. There were certain aspects of the hotel such as the elevators that could be redone. Additionally, our bed sheets had some stains on them.

Room was comfortable- with good lighting, and it was very clean. Modern furnishings and nice kitchen area. Property itself had few amenities, but the rate reflects the limitation

Fantastic price for a Fantastic room. Loved our full mini kitchen it was so perfect for our stay. I was worried as we drove 2.5 hours to Columbus and finding our hotel amongst abandoned buildings was scary. The hotel is so safe and we encountered nothing but friendly kind ppl staff and people staying. I would 100% recommend.
