Moving overseas and needed a place to stay until we finished our documents. Good location excellent staff as we had a number of special needs which were handled well and with good spirits

We only stayed one night as we went to the Houston Rodeo. This hotel is not up to Hyatt standards. The pictures look amazing but the hotel is not. Our room was large and the size was fine but it needs updating and a thorough cleaning. Rust and mold on the shower head. Rust and dirt on air returns to furnace. The sofa sleep arms were dirty. The fan in the bathroom ran all the time. The finish on the mirror is coming off. The AC panel in the shower is rusting and is not flush to the ceiling. There was mold in the shower. The hotel is on the surface drive of I-10 so it is noisy. The outside of the rear unit (there are two detached sections to this hotel) needs power washing and paint. This was a last minute trip and I did not check prior reviews or I would not have stayed here. The staff was friendly but there is nothing they can do about all this. The beds were hard and the sofa sleeper is not comfortable. I am a Hyatt member and like the Hyatt House in general. This is a management issue and needs to be addressed or the brand name will suffer

My experience has been truly wonderful! I mean from the day I checked in. I appreciate the kindness and the experience of staying in a hotel that offers the (extras). Hot breakfast, delicious and variety each day including the staff that works every morning to make sure each guest is greeted warmly and offered things like made to order omlettes. From my 1st day of check-in to my continued stay has been super nice. I mean that from someone whose stayed as an extended guest. Each staff member has gone the extra mile to accommodate each guest that I have observed. Once again, the Hyatt hotel chain represents quality vs. quality which most hotel/motel seem to model currently, which is not necessary good. The rooms/suites are clean, comfortable and neat from the goose-down pillows, to the full size kitchenettes that have full-size refrigerators and enough cabinet space to hold items especially for extended stay guest. The extend a 5 star experience at a 3 star rate. I feel safe except for the neighboring hotel guest who feel it necessary to knock down the wood fence to cross-over to the property but, this is not this properties fault. I would highly recommend this place for visitors especially out-of-town guest who may not know or be familiar with the area as a safe place for family and kids.

I had high hopes for this stay. I usually stay at the Hyatt House in Austin and it is wonderful, very modern. This hotel is nothing like the one in Austin. I can put up with an older outdated property if the staff and service is good. Unfortunately neither is true in this case. As a Globalist member (highest Hyatt level) I can honesty say this was the worse Hyatt I've ever stayed in. I was given a room where the key card took 15 tries to get it to open the door. I brought the key cards back for new ones. Upon trying again they too didn't work. When I called the front desk to let them know it is not the key cards but the door lock they informed me maintenance was aware the door doesn't work but just keep trying! Not so easy with groceries in your arms. Inside the kitchen the room was missing silverware and cups. The remote batteries didn't work so no tv. After 4 calls and 5 hours later I received the batteries and silverware. It didn't matter anyway the tv reception was horrible. The rooms have thin walls so plan on hearing your neighbors. At 12:20 am there were children screaming in the hallways as if they were going to the pool. It was a very bad nights sleep. The next morning Nikky (who is very nice) at the front desk stated there were other customers who complained about the excessive noise. I checked out a day early and asked her to have the manager call me. She wrote my name and phone number in a larger ledger and let me know the manager Sheena was arriving shortly. That was 2 days ago and still no call. If you are a Globalist member do not expect a room upgrade like they do at the Hyatt House Austin location. I personally plan to avoid this hotel, I think they lower the rate on weekends and attract the wrong type of people. This is why they charge $15 day when you check in for incidentals. Not sure what "incidentals" you could charge to your room at a Hyatt House.

Room reserved was not available. Was not notified and instead told "it will be ready in 30 min". After waiting patiently for some time, followed up about room and then told its not available. Hotel was subpar. Very disappointed!

Worst experience ever, no sleep at night due to the freeway being right next to room. Breakfast was subpar, only good thing were the omelettes. General Manager Sheena treated guests as children…kicked part of my family out because of another guests child that she assumed was ours because her staff took pictures and sent to her. Washers hardly worked, same washer still had old water and no maintenance done for weeks. We had to air dry all of our clothes one day because the dryers would not work at all.

Booked 2 bedroom king suite for family of 4 adults and an infant, was put in a regular room with 2 double beds. Had to check out and move to the Residence Inn the next day. On checkout, I requested for the manager to refund me and still have not been contacted a week after checkout.

Pictures are deceiving. the property is in poor condition. the lobby, the grounds, the buildings and the rooms are all in need of massive renovation. I did not feel safe staying at this hotel and checked out soon after checking in. I called the manager 2 times and left messages in an attempt to receive a refund for the first night. She did not return my calls.. In addition, I discovered on Thursday morning when I received an email from the Hyatt that the front desk agent had not checked me out and I had to return to the hotel to straighten out the mistake with the manager. She refused to refund the first night stay.

The housekeep and breakfast staff were amazing. They listened well and therefore were able to address all my needs beyond what I could have ever imagined. They were all pros and represented the hotel well as if it was their own business and reputation on the line. Can’t wait to. Go back.
