Reservations mean nothing. While I was driving down to St. Louis to attend a family funeral, the hotel called the morning of check-in to tell me my reservation made 3 weeks previously had been cancelled with no alternative booking make on my behalf. After I insisted they figure out something for me, they rebooked me at the ghastly Florissant location. At a higher rate. And then, the next night in Kansas City, my 2-night reservation at the Red Roof Hometowne Suites was cancelled when I arrived at check-in because their only housekeeping staffperson didn't show up for work. The desk attendant would not even attempt to rebook me anywhere else. I had to scramble to find lodgings for my family at a very stressful time. Red Roof has gone off the rails. I will never ever stay with then again. And that's too bad - I was a frequent guest and a member of their loyalty program. I ended up staying at the Quality Inn and they will now be my go-to when I need a hotel for work or personal travel.

The worst hotel I have ever been I’m not lying, I couldn't bathe because the bathtub didn't work, they didn't have soap, they didn't have cold water, they didn't have towels and things were broken like the ac, tv and even the fridge , the water was so hot that I couldn't use it, the bed was also broken. The worst. They didn’t want to even help
