Location was great. Staff was very good. Bed was too firm for me. Shower pressure was awesome. Breakfast was good. Only real issue was the design of the heavy curtains, they did not close. Room was first floor and I went outside and with a light on in the room was able to see through the sheer curtains. Anyone walking by could see in, no privacy.

The morning staff was very rude, the room was literally falling apart, even breakfast wasnt being handled to expectations. The biggest issue was the broken bed and the bathroom floor that is weak and sonks when you step on it.

Overall, this stay was fine. The room wasn’t dirty, it just hasn’t been updated in years. The grout is in pieces, any everything is outdated and old. But it was clean enough. The staff were friendly enough. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it’s not horrific.

I was in my room and a friend noticed black mold on the wall. I immediately got my daughter and our stuff out of the room and went to the front desk and got a new room. The woman at the front desk tried to explain that the mold was from rain…how is that possible when it was in the middle of the room and it really hasn’t rained. I asked for some kind of discount or compensation but the woman said she couldn’t do anything since I paid for the room on *******. She offered me 1000 points but the is was the first (and last) time I will stay at a wingate by Wyndham hotel.
