Roaches in our room, went to the office and they didn’t even seem to care. Got put into another room, had exposed outlets, holes in the wall, trim around the door ripped off, blood stains on lampshade. Went back to office again to show them the pictures and videos. Still didn’t really seem to even care. I understand it’s just a Red Roof but it should at least be clean and safe with children. Outside smelled and was trash all over, we had to look at a toilet sitting in parking lot from our balcony. Ended up just dealing with the third room. We will never come back.

This hotel should be condemened. The outside of the hotel is old and beat up and is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. The rooms themselves anything beyond surface level are disgusting. Blood on the walls dirt and mold in the rooms absolutely filthy. We laid towls on the floor so we didnt have to walk ob rhe floor. Meanwhile you bave peoole living theee. Woke up in the morning to go to the car and there was an entire town hanging outside their rooms. One night was one night to many.

Staff was very courteous. Room smelt like cat pee. Shower was full of hair and the drain clogged with hair. The parking lot had a toilet and other broken appliances out in the open. No bags in the pet area and the trash can had a big hole in it.

Room smelly, not really clean, bath door had a hole, fridge door didn't close, cheap bedsprings. With really good earplugs and a sleeping pill, however, I was able to sleep, had no bedbug bites, and I still had a catalytic converter the next morning, so it could have been worse.

Okay for one night
The beds were comfortable but the room smelled like dogs. It was "recently" redone but not well maintained. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul. Overall clean, just worn. Outside they had a double sided diner bench as a bench under a tree... very strange.

Room was very dirty. Stains on the sheets, dirty toilet, sticky stuff stuck on the carpet, gummy bears behind the bed and water hardley drained in the shower. The place also smelled horrible.

Overnight after Penn State football
For the price the room was clean and comfortable. Zero complaints. This was an overnight stay after a Penn State football game. I love these motels/inns in this price range. All we need is a bed to rest! Then leave for home the next morning! Only 1hr or so east of State College, PA. Not a bad drive. Just wish some guests were considerate when walking their dogs. Almost stepped in a pile of poop as I walked out of the lobby. Gotta pick it up! (But this can happen at any hotel/motel property.)

The room had not been completely cleaned, and there may have been a plumbing backup that discolored the tub and left hair and soap residue. By the time this was discovered, there wasn't time to change rooms. Also, there were residents roaming the grounds and dogs barking into the late hours and early AM.
