Because of a power outage, there was no one at the office to check me in and it was completely dark. I could not reach anyone by phone and I was unable to get the motel room. Therefore, I am expecting a refund.

Extremely Disappointed
Motel 6 in Yreka, Ca is a runned down place.. Missing fire detect devices in our room , bathroom counters falling apart, it was a quiet place to stay at but that was the only positive thing about this Motel 6... They are allowing people to smoke in rooms which is against the law in California.. So since I have asthma , it was difficult to breathe...

I generally take into account when a hotel is less expensive and don't compare it to an upscale property. This is a low cost hotel so they get the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, even with that in mind, it still only rates a "2" on the overall scale.

It is what it is for a low cost motel. Shower head in room 108 was faulty and put water in wrong direction. Reasonably clean. Check in staff was nice
