Bad Front Desk Service – Howard Johnson, 200 Cypress Blvd, Winter Haven
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I arrived, the front desk employee did not greet me or acknowledge me properly. She stayed on the phone talking about her pregnant daughter and even spoke negatively about her daughter while I was checking in. It was unprofessional and made the check-in experience uncomfortable.
Later, around 11 PM, I asked a woman at the front desk for a blanket, and she was extremely rude. Overall, the customer service at this location was unacceptable.

First room we were put in smelled overwhelming of mildew, I asked to be moved and the second room smelled even worse, like cigarettes and trash. It was so late when we arrived due to delayed flights that nobody but me wanted to move again. So we dealt with it for one night.

Check in was smooth. Room is fine. Clean but has a slight hint of smoke despite being a non-smoking room. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

一切都还不错,但他们需要翻新一下房间,至少我的浴缸也需要翻新一下……
