Room was satisfactory. A little paint around elevator would really raise my review. Kind of worn. Lobby help was extremely slow. I did not like that i had to carry my belongings to third floor. Scary elevator. Windows to room needed cleaned. Just not easy to get in and out of.

The Quality Inn has so much going for it but seems to need a little TLC to get it to the 4 rating property it could be. Located in the Town Center area with nice landscaping and an attractive facade, but paint and touch ups are needed everywhere. In our room the lampshades were stained brown, lights were burnt out and service areas had ice and soda machines pulled out looking rundown. The pool is attractive, but the poolside needed some simple cleaning like much of the hotel. The positives are the location, price and a terrific continental breakfast that had 2 kinds of waffles, eggs, great biscuits and sausage gravy. Very good muffins, pastries and single serve cereal containers, yogurts, juices and fruits rounded out the breakfast. The staff was very friendly, and I wonder why management hasn't addressed some of these simple fixes.

Hotel not maintained. Needs paint job everywhere and almost everything metal part is rusting. Employees are very nice and location is close to center of town. Chose hotel because of price but would not recommend. My wife was not happy with me.!

The owner of this hotel is a thief. Yes, it is a Quality Inn by Choice Hotels property, but the hotels are individually owned. Someone hacked into my Choice Hotels account and stole almost 100,000 reward points and used them at this hotel. After a bit of research, I discovered the scam. The owner (thief) books rooms (that will never actually be occupied by anyone) and uses the stolen reward points to pay for the unoccupied rooms. Then the owner (thief) turns around and bills Choice Hotels for reimbursement of the reward night rooms. I am still in the process of gathering evidence, but when I have enough, I'm going to visit Beaufort, SC and hand everything over to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. In the meantime, be very careful about keeping an eye on your Choice Hotels account and any credit cards you use at this property.

I can normally find something good about a place ... not here. The doors were nasty and the keys didn't work but it got WORSE. We got in and immediately knew it was a repurposed super 8 ... the carpet and room design gave it away Anyway only 1 light worked and the TV and remote didn't so by this time we had, had enough and asked to leave Sure they said but we have to charge you for the night so reluctantly we stayed the night If you like springs digging into you, the beds are great otherwise not so much Breakfast was interesting - sausage biscuits in plastic packaging in a warmer next to biscuits with some very dodgy looking gravy My wife said the coffee was awful, I was somehow not shocked Your money is important as is where you spend it, don't spend it here

While the hotel is in a great location, I think my dogs face says it all. From stained, yellow, crooked lampshades to the mold in the freezer to the dirt pile under the nightstand... never mind a random banquet chair in the parking lot about 30 ft from my room door with three guys 'hanging out'. NOPE.

Located in the Beaufort Town Center complex, we loved the entrance thru the brick walls and the 3 huge live oak trees covered in Spanish Moss right in front of the office. It's an attractive 4 story hotel with the far end next to the marsh and they have a very attractive swimming pool with brick walls around it, as well as many towels, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Our king room was nice with a good mattress and the property was quiet when we returned from the historic district around 10 pm. The continental breakfast was good with a lot of choices, waffles, muffins, cereal, breads with juices, coffees, and teas, plenty to get you out and on the road. The only negative was they needed to touch up a few areas with some paint and a little TLC in a few places. Overall, we would definitely stay here again with their reasonable pricing verses many of the other hotels in town and the great location only 5 minutes from the historic district.

Nice staff and good breakfast. Beyond that, gross and in disrepair. Blackened caulk, pealing paint and rancid smell . Spend a bit more and stay where you don’t feel like you’re bedding down in a halfway house.

I was on the back and my neighbors were a bit noisy and so were their dogs. It did not mar my stay too much. I was surprised that there was no parking near my room. I parked on the side since that was the closest. When a car alarm went off, I got dressed and went out to check on the car. But everything worked fine. I would stay there again.
