Do not recommend. First, fellow travelers had bed bugs on mattress. Also, our room did not have a bathroom door knob, no HDMI cord for tv. The coffee area was supposed to have “grab n go” breakfast and had none the entire stay. The rug in room is frazzled, walls dirty, stains on bedspread and room just not in great shape. They said pots and dishes in room, which was one pot, 2 forks, 2 spoons and 1 knife. Just not a great experience as far as room goes. Front desk polite and tried to accommodate.

RUN AWAY! I had the most disturbing experience checking in at this hotel. Jen at the front desk is the rudest person I have ever met. When checking in I asked if I could use my Apple Pay and was rudely told by her no because it’s a scam. A simple no would have been sufficient. I then made the rhetorical comment “I wonder how people are scamming with Apple Pay” that was been Jen in a rude tone said “Oh don’t know ask a scammer. I then asked if I could use a different card and was told yes but my card on file was declined. I then said if you want to use the card on file I just checked and there are funds to process the transaction. She then asked me 3-4 times if I was sure I had money in my account. One time would have been appropriate. At this point I am slightly bothered by how I was being treated. She basically was insulating that I was a theif and scammer but I kept my friendly demeanor and was happy the process was almost over. This is when everything went downhill for good. My 19 year son was standing behind me and I said “I’m going to the room to use the restroom and can you start unloading stuff from the car and I will come out and bring you the keys so I can go to target. That is when Jen said “there better be no funny business my boss kicks people out all the time”. This startled me and asked if it’s safe to stay here. She then looked at me weird and I stayed. If you have to kick people out all the time you must have issues. This is when Jen stated “we don’t kick people out frequently”. Mind you I’m 36 years old with adult children. My 19 year old child standing next to me didn’t even open their mouth during the entire process so there should have been no reason for this comment. At this point livid as I’m being treated like a criminal and now have been talked to like trash for 20 minutes. I decide to keep my friendly demeanor during the entire process. I then asked for the general managers business card which she told me that “she doesn’t have any cards for him”. I then asked for his email address and was told “he doesn’t have one and I can call on Monday because he won’t be back until then”. When leaving I politely told her that I was disappointed with how she treated me and stated I will be contacting choice and left. She huffed and shrugged her shoulders like I was bothering here and stayed “I don’t want to get a phone call in the middle of the night because she is annoyed with problems on her days off”. During my stay I spoke with other guests and they all told me she is the rudest person they have ever met and just avoid the front desk when she is working because she gives attitude if they need anything like guests are a bother to the staff and the police have to patrol the property. I have never stayed at a hotel that police patrol the property so that will tell you what kind of the place this is. I felt unsafe during my entire stay and I did ask her if I could go stay at a suburban somewhere else in the state of Virginia (I d

DONT STAY HERE EVER. Jen at the front desk is the worst. I was very nice even after her speaking me like I’m trash for ten minutes. Find another hotel. If you have kids she will threaten you for no reason. This business losing a lot of good guests due to her behavior and this place is now attacking a rough crowd. It’s to bad management didn’t retrain her prior because I use to stay here a few times a year and as long as she is employed by them I will staying at the Marriott! If you read the reviews she has so many complaints about how she treats people. Hopefully ownership gets wind about the issues at this place because Jen is a manager and she is destroying their business.

The room is super dated. The carpet was old and coming up off the floor. The staff are rude and spread false accusations about my dog to a hotel I decided to stay at (where the manager was rude to me because of what this hotel staff told them) causing issues with me and that hotel manager now where now if I am in the area I can't stay with my dog. I'll be requesting a full refund and pursuing a lawsuit for discrimination. Hope the management gets fired.
