I checked it, the AC didn't work. They did fix it. The room was in very poor condition (holes in the wall, smears on the wall, floorboards needing replaced), the bed is very hard and on two nights my key card didn't work. There's a ton of light the floods the room, you'll hear all loud traffic passing along the highway. And the town itself stinks worse than Bakersfield. I had to wash everything when I got home to get rid of that awful stench.

The room was very dirty, the walls had stuff dried on them in the bathrooms. Thankfully we only needed to sleep there. The parking was horrible as well don’t get back late. You definitely get what you pay for.

This hotel is terrible. The rooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Cobwebs all over, sheets look like they were used. The shower was filthy.

I stayed in this room the owner was rude and i booked an room with 2 bed and for me and my 2 children and then my family came by to visit me and the owner tried to make me pay $15 extra per person and he made me pay $25 early check in fee when there was only 1 hour before check in and I didn’t know when you rent a room you have to check in at a certain time and when I went back to get my deposit back he did not give
Me my deposit back because the towels were dirty and I had set them on the floor. So he kept my $50 deposit he is very rude and disrespectful he is not a nice person and he doesn’t care about his customers i called the better business buearu

I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at Motel 6 in Marysville, CA. I found a good price online through ******* but decided to stop by in person first to see if I could get a better deal. As soon as I told the man at the front desk I’d just book online, he immediately went on his iPad and blocked the rooms, making them unavailable unless I agreed to pay a higher price directly through him. It was obvious and manipulative.
I ended up booking the room online anyway after I left — sure enough, the cheaper rooms were magically available again. When I came back, I told him I had already paid through *******, but he still charged my card a second time. Then he demanded a cash-only deposit, which I didn’t have and couldn’t get at the time. I politely asked him to use my card for the deposit, and he refused, saying he wouldn’t pay the bank’s processing fee.
When I asked for a refund, he said no, told me to “f off,” and walked away. I had no choice but to call the police. Even then, he only gave me half of my money back and continued trying to block ******* from helping me. Luckily, ******* stepped in and resolved the issue on their end.
This was an extremely unprofessional and shady experience. I would never recommend staying at this Motel 6. Between the dishonest pricing tactics, double charging, refusal to refund, and flat-out verbal abuse, this place is a nightmare. Spend a little more and stay somewhere where your money — and your dignity — are respected.

The establishment was just about turning a buck. It was dirty, I’ll-kept, and no parking on site in the evening.
