My room was very clean and so was the restroom. Desk clerk was friendly. Nice breakfast and you can make your own Texas Waffle! Convenient location. Price affordable.

The room was clean but worn. One of the drawers was awkwardly hanging off the TV console and didn't sit inside its hole. There were chunks of the bathroom counter missing from where they had replaced a 2-handle faucet with a 1-handle faucet. The beds felt like trampolines. Like, literally, I sat down on the bed and bounced. They were not comfortable either and had only thin sheet-like blankets, no comforters. Perhaps because it is Texas, they don't consider chilly evenings, not sure, but it would've been nice to have a little thicker blanket. The hotel is near the NASA space center, so that is a perk if you are headed there, but otherwise the hotel sits on a very busy and noisy ***** (NASA Parkway), and you can hear it pretty much all night long. It is not walkable to the beach, unless you count the port where the boats are docked a beach; otherwise, it is not what we thought of as a beach. The receptionist stopped us and asked us to check in after we had already checked in, which normally wouldn't bother me, except there weren't that many guests at the hotel- we saw one other family there the whole time during a 2-night stay, and I'm pretty sure he was the same guy we passed by on our way out of the hotel to the conference we were attending.

The towels are so small, thin, and rough. The room was fine but the Netflix and YouTube buttons on the remote didn’t work so only basic cable was available.

Excellent staff service, newly renovated, hot breakfast. Coffee was not good too weak.
They need to replace their bath towels very thin. Great price. Would stay their again!

The ac was out in the lobby and the hallways and even the chocolate was melting . Also the blackout curtains aren't total blackout . The light and the noise from the road are a constant .

Now this review is for Best Western Melrose at Seabrook,BW not the Comfort Inn. Many of the reviews for this location are from when the hotel was owned by another management company, who previously owned the property. Look at current reviews from the last few months. The new owner has presently remodeled and prides themselves with good service and a good cleaning staff. In many reviews of the property, the pictures are old from the previous owners and is now with Best Western and has been remodeled extensively. It is no longer a Comfort Inn. It has changed names also. The staff is very nice, accommodating too. The rooms are large and clean. I can't say it enough, very clean and new furniture and flooring etc. Someone said there was no fan in the bathroom, that is incorrect. It has a vent and is always on but you can't hear it. There is no switch for it. The shower was really nice and felt wonderful actually. I had to get extra towels and that was no problem. The AC works well. Breakfast was ok but I am vegan so there is that. They have fruit and a few other food items I could eat. Now for my husband, they have an egg omelet bar on weekends and you get to pick what you want. They had bagels and muffins and I liked the chocolate and hoped it was vegan but not sure. The hallways were clean and the outside also. Loved the bed and it was a king. We stayed for 4 nites. I loved the Mediterranean Cafe and a Mexican Restaurant across the street. That was so convenient. We also went to one of the bars up where the water is. They had good fry's. NASA was close by as was the Boardwalk and so was League City. I would for sure stay again. The owner was one of the nicest management personnel I have ever met and I am not related nor work for him or the company of BW. Just a tourist. I made the reservation with Sam on the phone. He was very helpful and nice also. Oh I didn't see one single bug, not one. Yay--

Awesome Stay!
Amazing place to stay! The manager Obe is awesome. And the staff Nick, Sam at front desk great customer service very friendly and helpful. House keeping and kictjen staff awesome as well. Near kemah board walk.Hotel is very clean and comfortable!!!

我住了5晚。前两个房间是连通的（门都关着），房间管理员很粗鲁，整晚都把电视开得很大声。我投诉了，但什么也没改变。
他们给我换了个房间，但临街的房间很吵。
最后两晚住在二楼的220房间，感觉很好。工作人员非常友好。他们做的煎蛋卷很新鲜，这在美国很不常见。

抵达时已是深夜。酒店似乎没有遵守安静时间，因此即使在凌晨 12:00-01:30 也有很多噪音。恒温器不工作，所以房间内非常热。清洁度一流，员工友好又友善。不值得这个价格，因为不含早餐。浴室也没有风扇，因此浴室的滑动谷仓门没有隐私。
