The front desk clerk/manager who was on shift during my check-in was extremely sarcastic and unfriendly. She asked a question with a question each time whether about the property or the surrounding area. Otherwise the hotel was excellent for the price and the room was comfortable.

Almost there
Spark Hotel was recently acquired by Hilton Hotel. Ms. Makeria was great! However, I had higher expectations of the hotel.
First, I expected a hot breakfast. The Spark only offers a continental breakfast. The breakfast consists of cold cereals, 3 types of bagels, 2 types of muffins, boiled egg, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. Whereas, two Hilton properties that are located next door; The Hampton Inn and Tru offer hot breakfast; scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, grits, toast, bagels, hash browns, juice, coffee, and tea. Maybe the Spark could work with the neighboring Hilton properties to allow Spark guests to eat hot breakfast at the other Hilton properties if the guests want it.
Second, the Spark offers each room one bottle of water and one bag of chips, regardless of how many guests are in the room. Most hotels offer each guest not per room a complimentary guest bag. I believe the hotel needs to reconsider and give each guest a complimentary guest bag and not per room.
Third, rooms are cleaned every other day. I stayed 5 days and 4 nights. My room was supposed to be cleaned twice. Unfortunately, it was cleaned only once. There needs to be better quality control on room cleanings.
Finally, the bathroom did not have a working exhaust fan. Following a shower, my bathroom mirror was full with steam. I had to keep the bath door open to remove the steam or to circulate air in the bathroom.

Saw insects in room. No hair dryer. Did not receive receipt at checkout. Was told ******* would email. Did not get that email. No hot eggs or meat for breakfast.

The staff in general was excellent, polite, courteous helpful will be definitely staying there again

This property was reasonably price, clean, great location, and exceptional staff. What I did not like was the bagel breakfast. Good thing Cracker Barrell was next door for breaksfast.

Everything was great. Room was clean and it was really quite which is my biggest thing. I always stay here and will be back.
