Erin, at the front desk, knew that we stay there 4 times per year, every year- and found ways to recognize our loyalty.
The room she chose for us was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she do special things for us but she also was demonstrating methods for enabling the Inn's owners to ensure future business. Every Holiday Inn needs at least one Erin!

The room and amenities were great! Front desk staff was very helpful/pleasant and we especially enjoyed chatting with our server, Kathy, during brunch in the lounge.

We stay there 4 times per year when traveling from Maine to Virginia to visit with our daughter and family. Our stays at the Holiday Inn Scranton East have all been both fabulous -and predictable. We would suffer a terrible letdown in the event that they couldn't accommodate one of our planned stays!

The hotel room was a good price and close to where we were going for an event. Staff handled concerns easily and quickly. We did not have any issues with our stay. We didn’t like that the hotel didn’t have an elevator and stairs were required to be used. It was hard to find our room and then we were put by an exit door which we did not like.

Beyond everything else, this place also has a billiard table for guests! Meals were great. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Building clean.

The staff is amazing. The property is beyond dated. What modern hotel has hallway facing windows. The whole place needs a makeover to bring up to modern standards. As a stop over its fine but its not any better than a cheap motel.
