I wasn’t expecting much, as you get what you pay for. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I caught a glimpse of the pool as I was leaving. It was a dark green. I don’t think it was in use. Didn’t plan on swimming anyways. The linens were clean and there was a very, very basic breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and updated. For the price it was a good value. If you are budget conscious, I would recommend.

Good room, clean and quiet. Good breakfast, can make your own waffles. Have shampoo and conditioner in room. Bed could be firmer but not a bad stay

Our room was infested with roaches, and they would not give any kind of refund.

You also said you had encountered similar problems at a hotel you stayed at a few days before arriving at our hotel. We have not had the guests that stayed in the room just prior to your stay reporting any issues, and your experience was deeply disturbing since we try to address immediately problems of that sort. We have not had any guest in any of our rooms have the severity of issues which you reported. We will be using the feedback you provided to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.

This property is in the middle of a makeover, but I’m giving five stars for property condition because my room was very nice and had been remodeled. The facility is clean. My only complaint - and this is not a fault of the hotel - is that there is a lot of traffic coming in and out to get to Buckee’s, a massive store/gas station open 24/7. The noise of motorcycles coming in and out all night was annoying. This wouldn’t be a problem if you’re on a side not facing the entrance for Buckee’s.
