Super nice staff! Hotel parking is an issue, unless you don't mind climbing over a concrete partition. Our room was spacious and clean (except mirrors in bathroom had lots of hairspray buildup on them and some washcloths/towels had "grungy stains" on them). Worse part of our nightly stay was dealing with lots of traffic noise due to loud vehicles racing around downtown roadsways, alleyways & parking
garages.

This is my third stay in the last 9 years, and I was disappointed that the property is now charging for parking. It really is a unique hotel with character, and apparently, the parking fee is something the new owners have implemented. It frustrates me when a hotel attempts to nickel and dime its patrons. Not sure I'll be staying again.

This is the coolest hotel! We just needed a quick place to stay for a meeting in Rome the next morning, but this hotel was so much more than we expected! Absolutely gorgeous and unique and our room was huge! My husband said this morning: I think this is the most comfortable bed and bedding I've slept on in a long time! And we have travelled most of the last 5 months since he has retired. Amazing hotel that we will look forward to returning to when we are back in Rome! Highly recommend!

Room & property were clean and in the perfect location! There were so many things close by, just a 2-10 minute walk away as well as a nice little path by the river. My only complains would be that the pillows on the bed were SO uncomfortable, to the point where my neck was almost completely stiff by the end of our stay, the couch was very stiff & uncomfortable also, there were no silveware of any kind and we had a suite with a kitchenette so that would have been much appreciated. Aside from those things though, this was a great stay and very welcoming staff. I would stay were again, just with my own pillow! stuff,
