There is no food like they say and room smell really bad. It need deep cleaning

The bed linens were full of stains from someone else’s bodily fluids. The floors and walls needed maintenance. The room smelled terrible like roach spray. When I left all of my clothes, smelled like the room.

Lake front. Pack a hair dryer
Nice enough, right on the lake with pier access and a pool. I missed the amenity of a hair dryer.

The room was very nice and clean. However, the lack of bedside lamps was a huge disappointment! Having only the very bright overhead lights is awful.
And secondly, the blanket on the bed was almost as thin as the sheet- I had to spread my fuzzy jacket over my legs and feet. These are cheap, easy fixes.

I was very impressed with this small motel. We rented two rooms - one was a suite and one was a mini suite. You do have to keep in mind this is an older property. And I was happy with both rooms. And the managers are terrific. I hadn’t been to Clear Lake for ages. Like decades and I didn’t know what to expect. I would definitely stay here again.
