Very run-down, outdated and ‘rough’. Appliances didn’t work, handwritten numbers on the doors (??). Looked like it was in its ‘last legs’.

First off the front desk man was so incredibly rude. Refused to acknowledge any concerns that I had and threatened to charge me for the room and not give me the keys. Then followed it with no longer addressing me, but would only address the male with me. When asking for an explanation in the price increase, he told me there was nothing he could do. Additionally when there was a note specifically written in the reservation that I would be paying cash my credit card was charged before I had even arrived to the hotel. Totally not worth the price.

The desk clerk was sweet. I came in late in the evening.
I saw a flea jump off the counter when I set my bag down which was very disconcerting. The hairdryer was broken, which I didn't know until I needed it. There was a big light out front that was blinking like a strobe because, as the clerk said, it got wet in the rain. I asked to be moved way from it because the strobe would have kept me up. There were two separate homeless people milling around, which also made me fear my car would be broken into.
It was wierd and almost humorous to see the paper ***** around the toilet seat, indicating it was cleaned, then lift the lid and see a dirty tissue in there.
The clerk came out to my car to tell me the power in the surrounding area would be turned off at 8am, so I'd have to have my shower by then. (That's not their fault, and he kindly told me.)
That said, it was cleaner than other hotels in the area. The shower curtain was not ripped. The heater worked.
The bed had white sheets which allowed me to feel confident there were no bed bugs.
I woke at 2:20am, did some work and was out by 4:30 am. This place isn't as bad as the Lamplighter Inn, and cost about the same. I paid $100 or so, which is to say, one can't expect the world. They definitely DO need quality control, but some things are out of their control like the unfortunate location.

Terrible. Office was closed at check in time. Note said be back in 10mins. An hour later the office still was not open. Tried calling the hotel and was hung up on 3 times and noone talked.

Worst hotel we have stayed in in several years.
Room had split in bottom of bath tub that they taped up with duct tape. Shower head old. Paint coming off wall in bathroom. Toilet seat not tightened down Beds were hard. Didn’t get out. King size bed we asked for. Would definitely not stay here again. Not the best area either.

Has gone downhill since the last time I stayed here. It was adequate and conveniently located to my relatives. Repairs have been made for in a sloppy way.

Worst stay ever! Front desk guy hung up on me when I was trying to confirm room and arrival.. ON A HOLIDAY WEEK.. traveling for work as a contract healthcare employee. roaches everywhere and room heater blows cold. Fire alarm cirped whole stay.. even after I told felt desk immediately after check in.
