When my family and I saw the room we gave it the benefit of the doubt as we were just sleeping there and not going to be staying in the room much. In the morning I washed my face and grabbed one of the folded towels to dry my face. I patted my face dry and looked down and say what appeared to be hair piled inside of the towel like someone had shaved their beard. It was gross, we packed up and checked out and brought this to the attention of the front desk person as we asked to speak to management, we were told that the manger wasn’t there and they couldn’t call them but they would pass the message along and the front desk personal gave me the email to the manager, the front desk person also told me that due to it being a holiday they didn’t have any cleaning staff that night so my guess is that someone didn’t change the towels. I have sent an email to management but have not gotten any responses. Terrible place to stay.

The room was a very nice size, did not feel cramped at all, was open and airy. We loved the hot tub in the bathroom. But you could smell that it once was a smoking room, and the toliet was loose, and the paint in the bathroom was bubbled, and a shelf was missing. And the normal, basic toliletries werent even there. So just a lityle dissaponting.

Room was clean and big. Bed was comfortable. No elevator to second floor. . Stairwell dirty, hallways dirty. A dirty rag was stuffed under an 'employees only' door. Soundproofing terrible. Parking lot noises loud and a man was talking in next room starting at 2am on a sales call that we could hear very well so we left at 3:30 a.m since couldn't sleep; he was still talking. When checking out, had to yell and bang on counter to get attention of night clerk who was talking on his cell phone in the next room.

We did not even stay at all and left. The room was terrible full of mold and was not what was directed on the site. We tried to get our money back but they said no.

The staff was great, but the hotel was not clean. Our bathroom was filthy. The hotel is advertised as non-smoking, but our room smelled like old smoke. The elevator wasn't working, and more importantly, the outside door locks were broken so anyone could get into the hotel, which made us feel very unsafe. We left early and did not stay the 2nd night as planned. Management should be ashamed of the condition of this hotel - I have stayed in other Howard Johnsons that were very clean and safe, but this one was not.

The lady that checked me in was very nice and polite. Very helpful. The room was nice but needs to be updated. The carpets are old and have a mildew smell. But it was a very nice stay. I would have like to have breakfast at the hotel. There is a dinner on the same property. But the food on a scale of 1-10 was about a 2. Waitress was very nice. I ordered a Mystic Sunrise mocktail and was brought one that tasted like beer. When I asked she said it had champagne in it, and I reminded her that was supposed to be in mocktail so she took it away and returned with the correct one. But it definitely was beer..

The room was clean. The service was good. I booked this place because it said breakfast was included when in fact it was not. Instead they offered a 10% disclunt to eat at diner next door.
