Room was nice. Area is beautiful. Television service in room is aweful. Couldn’t connect to Netflix or anything. The only complaint was this. When we wanted to go back and watch a movie and snuggle up after dinner. The tv service was terrible

We’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times, and always enjoyed it. This time the hallways were full of rowdy teenagers in for a hockey tournament, which kept us awake late into the evening and woke us up at 5:30 AM. And most hotels of the price range one would’ve expected a credit for the evening, but instead we were given a $50 credit. We also had a significant credit from a prior cancellation, which you were told was “not available to us“. Evidently the hotel has a new owner.
And one thing, which is small, but still annoyed us, was the fact that the beautiful first floor lounge, which has a beautiful view of mirror Lake, also has a wonderful wood stove that when burning really makes the room and also provides a great deal of warmth. Our second night there we were told that it was broken, but that it would be “fix the next day“. It wasn’t as I said, just a small thing, but one of those little details that be loved about staying here in the winter.
And why no maid service every day?
We will certainly try this Hotel again and hope that they’ve made the necessary improvements.

Lovely place, with a great view from our junior king suite. The common areas are beautifully decorated and laid out. My only criticism was the breakfast was pretty lame. The hotel was Lark brand when I made the reservation, and I was looking forward to their delicious breakfast, but it no longer a Lark so….

Staff was super nice. Rooms were very large and comfy! Great views of Mirror Lake. Be forewarned, there is a RESORT FEE (not sure why - it’s really just a hotel!). Also, no coffee in the room, although there is a Keurig in the lobby. Location is great to walk around Lake Placid or drive to Trailheads (Marcy,Algonquin, etc).

I loved this hotel. The downstairs area was so relaxing with beautiful views. Easy walking to shops and restaurants on Main St. Will definitely be back.

酒店很漂亮，但自动售货机坏了，欧陆式早餐每人15美元，没什么值得吃的。我们办理入住等了一会儿，不过我们到得也早，他们还是给我们安排了入住。房间里没有咖啡。
标准间没有桌子，灯光也很暗，很出乎意料…床单上的毯子有很多头发…酒店早餐免费提供两小时…前台服务员很不专业…checkout的时候没任何提示就从我信用卡上扣款…我出门后发现信用卡扣款短信，又返回酒店前台，他们查了半天，才给我把款项退还了。酒店除了位置离主街近，没什么可取的…以后不会再选择…不推荐！！
款项不但没退还，还多刷了两次，我要支付三次酒店费用…完全不推荐～太差了。目前还在追款中
即使价格在酒店承受范围内，也很难更改住宿安排。
他们似乎不喜欢*******。
位置很好。大堂漂亮干净。
不过，房间的清洁度勉强可以接受（有蜘蛛网和异味）。
价格不贵，所以一切都很好。
