The front desk supervisor gave you a discount at check out for your inconvience. She did not make me aware yesterday that any other contact was requested. The room was dirty and I didn’t feel safe staying there so I canceled my reservation. I didn’t receive a refund because the hotel wouldn’t respond to ******* despite them reaching out multiple times and me telling the clerk they would be reaching out to cancel my reservation.

Once entering the room, a VERY BAD STRONG odor was in the room. I had to leave the room door open like 3 hours & use Lysol to TRY to get rid of the smell. The iron broad cover filthy. I went back to the front desk to complain and the guy at desk said was, OH. No apology!! I requested a sheet so I could iron. He promised to come in 5 min to the room & NEVER came.
We never got our bedsheets changed or trashed taken out. Next time I’m in Jacksonville, FL, I will be staying there.
However, the location was perfect to get food or for shopping plus leisure.

I travel often and try to stay at nice hotels that have a bar/lounge. This one has a nice one but it was closed the night I was there. You could get a drink in the “Comedy Club” but I’m not buying a ticket to get a drink. The grounds are filthy, people for a lack of the appropriate term, use the parking lot to get high. The room was decent.

Cleaning staff went above and beyond to track me down and give me an item that I almost left behind. The breakfast attendant was more than attentive to our needs. The receptionists were also wonderful and helpful. Very great experience!

The rooms are the bare minimum that would be acceptable to be considered rentable. Awful smell ( like stale old cigarette smells ). Looks like a lot of homeless stay there and indigent hang out around all of the rooms.
Beds were comfortable if you like soft mattresses. Don’t think I would stay there again.

No wash cloths in the room. No hair dryer even though it had the holder. Breakfast buffet from 6:30-9:30. No hot food brought out till 7:45. The hotel is very outdated and could use some definite refurbishing. Trash all over outside. As if nobody cared about the appearance of the property.
