Negatives - The hotel is showing its age.
We've stayed in this property may time extending back to the mid-90s. The price is great, but the condition of the hotel is pushing us to switch to newer options

This property is being revitalized. They are not ready to be doing business. No hang up space. Water Faucette was stuck on hot. Sink drain was stuck closed. Overall clean. However annoying printed notes all over the hotel. Standing in the lobby area I could see 5 single page do not signs. Annoying.

I was actually sick with vertigo and just collapsed on the bed. It was very comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. Will be our go to place to stay in Searcy, AR in the future.

Front desk staff was efficient & friendly on check-in.
The room was clean upon arrival, but housekeeping never replaced coffee, or cleaned, or vacuumed over the course of my 3 night stay. They replaced the towels once.
I'm a pretty tidy person, so, for the price, it wasn't the worst place I've stayed.
Breakfast was decent and having a balcony off the room was nice.

I always like staying here, the beds are really nice, always enjoy the hot tub. The lady who checked me in was super sweet. My stay was quiet and I liked that.

The housekeeping staff was fantastic as the property was clean. The front desk staff was helpful, if a little overly talkative. The facilities, however, are VERY dated and very badly maintained. It’s July and the lobby subdued are covered in droopy, faded Christmas paper in order to cover up the fact that the pool inoperable and clearly had been for a long time. (Even though they still advertise the amenity.) The inner hallways are stacked with furniture boxes so hopefully that means improvements are forthcoming. Several areas were newly painted. The hotel could easily be a top notch stay in the area with the hot breakfast, pool/hot tub, great staff, etc. It just needs to be updated and managed properly.

The carpet and sofa in the room appeared dated. The shower was slick when wet. I would recommend some type of bathmat. Breakfast was good. We had two rooms reserved for our stay. One was fine, but the other was not clean. My travel companion reported this to the front desk and was immediately reassigned to another room for which we were appreciative.
