The property itself has so much potential, but is kind of a mess due to the construction/renovations. The room we had a was decent, just outdated and run down (chipped tile, stained carpet, chipped paint, etc.). Everything seemed clean in our room which was a huge relief given the condition of the property when we arrived.

The hotel is under construction which is not mentioned anywhere on their site or on *******. So I couldn’t get the room I paid for. I paid for an Ocean view with balcony, Instead we got a room facing the pool with a patio which is ZERO privacy. Felt like we were in bird cages while people walked around us. Property grounds has large ditches filled with mud so good thing we came here in our truck. The shower flooded the bathroom to the point that we needed to lay towels all over the floor. Do not recommend this stay.

When we went to the room, it had an unusual smell and the carpet in the bedroom looked like it had not been vaccumed. Alerted the front desk and was moved to another smaller room, which was cleaner and without that funky smell. Later that night, when returning after dinner, the parking lot was full, even though we were told that we should not have a problem parking. There were two away signs, so did not want to get my car towed. Called customer service, but it was after 7 p.m., (front desk closes) and customer service did not have an emergnecy phone number to call the property nor know what to do. No info by the closed office in th lobby for that number. Found an after hours number in the room and called that, and the person explained what to do/where to park with the full parking situation.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, they appear to remodeling and it didn’t affect at all. View was pretty good.

Balcony scene was okay. Somewhat obstructed by trees. Room was clean but not perfect. Did not use the hot tub.

The room was clean on arrive. Housekeeping not consistent. Charges a property fee and I don’t know what they are spending it on… the parking lot alone was a complete disaster! Huge holes everywhere. The breakfast was awful… l
