The breakfast was horrible and worse you get someone watching what you eat ,its not worthy what you pay for and what they advertise

Well-maintained older hotel with clean, quiet rooms. The staff is excellent and the big pool in the courtyard is nice. Free beer from 6pm-8pm is a plus!

The gentleman in charge of the breakfast did a really good job and their breakfast is quite good for a free hotel breakfast. Otherwise, yikes. The door from the outside had no flooring and my shoes stuck to the subfloor, the key card readers are very old, the hotel itself is very old and my major complaint was a horrible smell in my room. It was overwhelming. I could hear every word that people were saying outside my door, was not soundproof at all. But I was exhausted from traveling and stayed anyway. Smelled of damp mildew or something like that. Hotels in Abilene are pricey, trust me and just spend the extra money.

Great service and staff. We had to get a hotel for a few days unexpectedly and were welcomed with a caring staff and a clean room, which made our unexpected chaos more manageable. My car broke down, and the owner's son has a car repair shop that fixed me up as well.

Traveling through
We only stayed 1 night while traveling thru. Had a clean room. It was very good since we had a small older pet. Did have to put up a $100 cash pet deposit plus the $25 pet deposit on the card. Did get the cash deposit back upon check out since my pet did no damages to the room. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good and the gentleman working the breakfast was very courteous and kept area clean. Could tell the owner of this hotel is making newer updates. Had a small mall close by of walking distance and Cheddar's restraunt next door which had very good food and small bar for drinks.

Happy traveler
The hotel staff was very cordial and accommodating to what we needed. Took a pet with me. Everything was great. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of food and clean and tasty. Will stay there again.

I didn’t really know what to expect but I enjoyed my stay; staff were all helpful and polite. The little practical notes (Please Clean Off Your Boots & Shoes) made me think somebody’s Grandma was in charge! I learned that this used to be a Ramada Inn and it now has new carpeting and paint throughout, great A/C, nice TV and new beds. Would stay here again. 8/29/2025

This Inn is a good place to stay. This is a budget Inn, however, very clean and everything you’ll need is provided.
Breakfast was exceptional! Mr. Whitten makes sure of that.
Afternoon have some free beer if you are so inclined?
Overall, we enjoyed the stay and saving money. I will stay there again!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were cozy and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel has a bit of an older aesthetic, but it was nice. I would definitely stay here again.
