因为有宠物，我们选择了palm villa 这个一室一厅的房型，车子直接停在房门口，方便搬东西。厨房很简易，只有微波炉，不能烧东西。房间是queen size的床，没有评论说得那么软，除了小点没啥大毛病。厕所空间很大，虽然设施不是很新，干净就行。最赞的是他们家的自助早餐和晚餐，蔬菜水果非常新鲜，都是每天清晨当地农民送来的，德州烤肉也好吃，关键晚餐自助35刀一人，诚意满满。最不满意的应该是villa 里面的游泳池，有点脏下去5分钟马上上来了。

We enjoyed our stay at Horseshoe Bay. We went for a birthday and found lots of fun things to do at the resort and in the area. However, we did find it difficult with the restaurants and was hoping for a little more mainstream menus. We ended up eating away from the resort for most meals. I was also hoping there would be a microwave in the room, especially given that they have all of the restaurants and people tend to have leftovers. Finally, I feel like the mini golf should be included in the stay or at least highly discounted. They wanted to charge us $25 a person to play. We did enjoy the heated pools and all of the water features and all kinds of different little paths we found to walk. The resort is beautiful! I would stay here again, but would be better prepared food wise.

Guys trip
We booked Horseshoe Bay for a guys’ golf trip, and it was everything we hoped for. From the start, the staff made check-in smooth and even had our tee times organized, which set the tone for a stress-free weekend.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for groups — plenty of space to hang out after a long day on the course. The beds were comfortable, and the resort kept everything stocked and tidy throughout our stay.
The golf courses themselves were the real star. Beautifully maintained fairways, challenging layouts, and stunning views made every round a blast. The pace of play was great, and we never felt rushed. Between rounds, the clubhouse was the perfect hangout — great food, cold drinks, and a lively but relaxed atmosphere.
Off the course, the resort had everything we needed: a pool to cool off, a bar with plenty of TVs for catching the games, and restaurants with hearty meals that hit the spot after 18 holes. The staff was always friendly and quick with recommendations for nightlife and local spots, which made evenings just as fun as the days.
Overall, Horseshoe Bay nailed it for our boys’ trip. Great golf, great vibes, and everything we needed in one place. Already planning to make this an annual tradition.

The staff and facilities are nice. However, the whole time we were there it seemed like the air conditioning wasn’t working well and it was hot and stuffy the whole time.

Villa was perfect for a family get away. Very friendly staff always enjoy Horseshoe Bay even on a rainy day they create a great environment.

Can’t say enough good things about Toni. She was the highlight of our three night trip, giving the kids and adults new experiences and information. She is great, she needs to run the animals. The parrots were

This was a great resort but the wifi was not that great. The putt putt was dark and hard to see the balls did not glow which made it hard.
The pool dj was wack he wasn’t allowed to play hip hop or Latin music.
