Mike and Jean are lovely hosts that made our stay very enjoyable. They provided lots of information about the area, wineries, restaurants etc and even have coupons for wine and cheese tastings. When you arrive you get a bag of goodies and a stocked refrigerator with various drinks as well as a large Keurig coffee selection. This is a charming, historic property with lots of seasonal decorations in the common rooms. The brunch was an amazing multi-course home-cooked affair with products from their own garden. We wished we could have eaten more. All rooms are upstairs and require a climb up a staircase. The location is central to lots of points of interest. We even got a tour of the local Amish Produce auction with Jean. The Seneca room does not have any storage space at all, so you cannot unpack your suitcase, which would be nice for a multi-day stay. A chest of drawers would be helpful and maybe a small desk. There is a closet but it is full of towels and the microwave and fridge. We also prefer a firmer mattress.

Just returned from 2 nights stay at beautiful Tillinghast Manor and would like to confirm that all the positive reviews are all true. You will not regret staying here. Jean and Mike are wonderful and generous hosts. Brunch is delicious and abundant. You will never be hungry prior to starting your adventures around Finger Lakes. I think Jean has ability to read minds and surprised us with my favorite carrot cake for my birthday. Room was stocked with anything you would ever need. We never felt more welcome at any other place we stayed in our travels. Can’t wait to stay there again.

We just returned from a three night stay at Tillinghast Manor, and can't say enough good things to fully explain our complete delight with the experience. The property is beautiful, hosts Jean and Mike are beyond friendly and helpful, and the rooms are quite comfortable. On top of all that, the brunches we enjoyed during our visit were among the finest meals we have ever enjoyed. To call therm gourmet meals wouldn't begin to do them the service they deserve. We look forward to another visit to the Finger Lakes region at some near point, and wouldn't consider staying anywhere but Tillinghast Manor. Thanks Jean and Mike for a wonderful, memorable experience. We arrived as strangers but departed as friends. Looking forward to a future visit!

If you are visiting the Finger Lakes region to sample some of the outstanding wines in the area, look no farther than the Tillinghast Manor for your lodging. We recently stayed there for a 2 day visit and were very impressed. Tillinghast Manor is conveniently located in Ovid, between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, making it easy to get to a large nunber of the wineries there. Additionally, they offer quite a few wine tasting coupons for many of the wineries. We easily saved over $150 in tasting fees during our stay there. Mike and Jean were outstanding hosts and offered many great suggestions for winery visits and restaurants in the local area. Since the Manor is labeled a Bed and Brunch (B&B), the breakfast/brunches are substantial and delicious! You will not go away hungry from their beautifully decorated table. We stayed in the Seneca room, which had all the amenities of home - a fully stocked refrigerator (including Starbuck's iced coffees!), microwave with popcorn, a Keurig coffee machine (we requested decaf pods and those were available as well!), large and fluffy towels, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. There is ample, free, on-site parking Mike and Jean seem to have thought of everything to make our stay there enjoyable and relaxing. We highly recommend Tillinghast Manor!

We stayed in the Roosevelt room with Hannah’s parlor. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The parlor has a cozy sitting area with large tv. Perfect for chilling out. Breakfast was great and more than we could ever eat, including delicious sweet treats. Keurig coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The host were lots of fun to visit with. Short walk to town. Really glad we stayed here.

We are located on Main Street in Ovid and two blocks from the heart of our little community. You can walk to the Italian Kitchen, Chinese Dragon, Fabulous but Frugal Clothing and the Historic Three Bears. We recommend the Roosevelt Room with Hannah's Parlor when there are two couples traveling together. In that way they have their own cozy place to play cards, games or watch their favorite TV shows or College Football!

We recently stayed at Tilinghast Manor B&B. Jean and Mike are wonderful hosts, very concerned that we enjoyed our stay. They are a wealth of information about the area and if you have not planned your visit, they can provide you with a plan. The brunch they served was delicious and varied each morning. It was pleasantly unlike the usual B&B breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed Jean's creativity. They also have their own garden and much of the food they serve is grown on premises. You should plan a visit here. You won't be disappointed.

We have tasting coupons from our favorite Vineyards to help guide your visit if you are unfamiliar with the wine experience. On our bookshelf we have hiking books with directions to the trails many of which we have trekked. In the season, it is fun for me to harvest heirloom tomatoes, spinach, beans, kale and other veggies to create flavorful brunch. You always know what you will get a major chain hotel - how boring! Fantastic place. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here four four nights and absolutely loved it. Mike and Jean are great hosts, addressing every need, and the food they make is out of this world. Baked french toast, banana pancakes with homemade blackberry sauce, Amish meats, fruits and vegetables from their garden - we never knew what to expect but loved it all. Room stocked with supplies, beverages, Keurig, etc. And so nice! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

酒店回复: Weekly during the season, I attend the local Amish Produce auction to supplement what we don't have in our garden. This is the first year Mike was able to pick our own strawberries, black & red raspberries, peaches and apples. He incorporated these into his deserts, smoothies and creme brulee yogurt. We are also aware that when you stay with us for more than a weekend that each morning's meal should be different and special. Amenities are also very important which you so kindly noted. Absolutely amazing place! Jean and Mike were incredible hosts! Great idea for Bed & Brunch rather than Breakfast. Exceptional food and awesome selections. Deciding to sleep in have brunch at 10 or 10:30 is a welcome relief from getting up early daily. There is so many activities and music available to enjoy in the area during the summer it is difficult for guests to know about them. We often suggest these to enhance our guests experience and to make the great memories that you ladies have.

Beautiful house, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, and incredibly accommodating innkeepers. Jean and Mike did everything you could think of to make us feel welcome. They also had lots of good suggestions for where to eat and go for wine tastings. Breakfasts were outstanding. I could go on, but I think you catch my drift.
