We notified hotel that we were checking in late got, in after midnight. We were one towel short in the morning and there was bulk shampoo and conditioner in the shower that were completely empty. Shower faucet was in poor repair and difficult to find proper temp. We departed by 5am. Total stay 5 hours and hotel did not meet our standards.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The dining area ran out of some food and the garbage was overflowing. I did not see a diningroom attendent.

The room smelled like cat pee, took 2 hours to get used to the smell, the sheets and towels had stains on them, the toilet seat was so loose I almost fell off the seat and the toilet base bolts were broken so the toilet base moved a couple inches in both directions exposing filth under the toilet where it met the floor. The hot tub controls said "no work, no work" and of course the hot tub wasn't even hot. The sauna was also broke. The staff was lazy and not friendly at all and the front of the building at the main entrance was like a ghetto with people loitering. People hanging out in the parking lot late at night and to top it all off, the attendant couldn't print out a receipt for my stay. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Pillows (not cases) and mattress pad (not sheets) smelled of cat urine. Carpet damp and sticky with cleaning solution; not rinsed/steam-cleaned correctly.
Double-charged for room (once to personal card; once to ******* corporate card).
It was fine. I did not expect much. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. The property was worn and room smelled musty, but it wasn’t dirty. Just old, rundown and a little musty. It was quieter than I expected. It is not that conveniently located to downtown Madison, but about a 25 minute drive. If you don’t have a car, don’t stay here. But it was fine for an overnight.
