We aren’t very picky when it comes to our hotels as long as they’re clean and this place was definitely not clean. It looked nothing like the pictures online. Our room (202) smelled like cigarettes and very moldy and musty smelling. The carpet was damp feeling and very hard/oily/sticky feeling. Our socks were absolutely disgusting after we walked around without shoes on for a few minutes. There was trash underneath the beds. The freezer had not been cleaned out and there was melted ice cream in there that had been in there quite a while. We did not notify staff at first. We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby upon checking in and we’re just going to try and make the best of it. We ended up leaving a day early because we could not take the smell any longer.We told the lady at the front desk when we checked out why we were leaving a day early. We were not refunded for our day we didn’t stay.

I have been in Myrtle Beach often but didn’t know this property was so close to my timeshare. I have a Saturday to Saturday timeshare but because of flights from Niagara Falls I came in on Friday and needed a room. This property was very good. Check in person was very helpful.

Good trip
One of the male staff was helpful . He let us know where the best Jamaican restaurant. It was awesome. The other staff was pleasant and very helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was okay. The location was awesome. We will visit again

If musty is how you roll this is your place….
The hotel was not very clean! The lamp shades had mildew all over them and the room smelt very musty. The bathroom tub was not in good shape. They did have plenty of towels. Breakfast didn’t look appealing.

Of all of the ‘fancy’ hotels in the area — this ‘affordable’ option ended up being the MOST CLEAN and PROBLEM-FREE. We have friends who booked the Marriott for double the price & had to check out immediately — thanks for good room service also!

Bed was uncomfortably firm. I got about five hours of sleep due to a very hard mattress
