We checked in and given the key cards and went to the room. Walked in the room which was dark and noticed a large lump in the bed and at first thought somebody was there and freaked out a bit. Realized that it was a mound of sheets and pillows. The room hadn’t been cleaned. Went back to the lobby and the clerk put us in another room. She was very apologetic and nice. I have stayed here, because it is normally quiet, because it’s built from concrete and brick. I have noticed that the Hotel could stand for updates. Painting, tile work, lamp shades it’s getting very worn and grungy looking. The pillows are the smallest pillows I have ever seen in a hotel. They are like throw pillows!!! If they are the pillows that are going to be used, there should be at least 6 of them on a King size bed. Because of the grungy aesthetic we are considering looking for a new Hotel in the area when we visit family there.

Staff were fine. We haven’t stayed here in a while. The place needs some serious remodeling and updates. The carpets are full of stains and even the elevator floor was filthy. The beds and bath were adequate but the climate control is erratic. We finally just opened a window to get fresh air. Won’t be back any time soon.

This property is in serious need of a make-over. Very outdated furnishings and room offerings. What was labeled a suite was far short of any other suite I've stayed in.

Nice, clean, & warm
The only issue we had was the room temperature. It could only be adjusted by radiators in the room, which only blew out hot air. When we called to see if there was any other way to turn down the temp as the room was very warm, the answer was to turn off the radiators and open the windows. Other than that, the room was clean and staff was friendly.

Staff was exceptional. Quick response, very helpful and polite, They were the best part of the stay.
Facility is showing age. Carpet clean but still showed older stains. TV is small (about 32 in diag) and picture does not show edges - missing score and info at top and bottom of screen. Someones makeup on floor behind chair. Latch on bathroom door missing faceplate. Grout in bathroom molding done very poorly.
We will probably not stay at this location next trip to Orland Park.
