Saw a cockroach in the hallway and there’s inch gap under the door going into the hotel room. So we stuffed towels in the crack to keep the cockroaches out. In the morning, two hotel staff including a maid and someone working at the reception desk accused us of smoking in our room because of the towels. Like no ma’am, your hotel is nasty and you have cockroaches.

Pros: very clean, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, and comfortable beds and pillows.
Cons: thin walls, just ok water pressure, kinda bland overall, and they had no bottled water the night we arrived.

Older facility, redone likely a while ago. Breakfast staff was excellent. The housekeeping did a great job. Front desk? well, multi-tasking wasn't the guy's forte. I'll leave it at that.

Shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. Soap available on bathroom counter, so I had clear hair, but I also had a very wet bathroom floor since I was already soaked when I learned I had no soap or shampoo

Asked for a ground floor room as I prefer not to use elevators. Checked the locks in the windows and they didn’t work. Told the reception . They didn’t think it was a problem. I asked to change rooms to one that had window locks that work. Reception didn’t want to. I asked them to come and check. Window Locks didn’t work. Employee told me this was happening in other rooms. I was surprised. Insistes to ve changed to a room that had windows out to parking with functioning locks. After much back and forced, I was changed. Quite a bit shocked that employees knew about this problem and nothing had been done. Please stay safe- check window locks when staying in a ground floor- hotel managers/owners please fix this safety issue.

Free breakfast was just okay but the staff (Lisa) was beyond excellent in her service, very friendly to everyone. She even gave us bottled water for our journey home.we will not forget how attentive she was to all the guests in the dining room

I stayed at Comfort Inn Danvers, MA September 2025 and was shocked to find two cockroaches on the bathroom floor in the morning. I killed one and took photos, reported it to management, and was only offered $20 off. I left immediately because I no longer felt comfortable staying there. The room had initially seemed clean, but this was unsanitary and unacceptable. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

I had a fantastic stay at the Comfort Inn! From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless — the lobby, hallways, and especially the room. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens and plenty of pillows, making for a great night’s sleep.
I also really appreciated the fresh breakfast every morning. There were plenty of options.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Great value for the price!
