Great choice if you like slow check in, noisy rooms (neighbor’s shower woke me at 4:30am), and terrible pillows. Otherwise, your typical sub-standard hotel. Much better choices nearby and at similar price points.

We're local, had to be at the airport by 4:15 so decided to eschew the 30+ mile drive at 3 am - spent the night here instead. The room was large, with a sofa and huge TV...which is good because being pretty much across the street from the airport there wasn't much scenery. It was quite clean. The employees were very friendly, polite and helpful. There is a MasterPark lot next to the hotel (the office is adjacent to the lobby) which makes it convenient. And the airport shuttle runs round the clock. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are several places within walking distance and lots of choices via DoorDash. The only gotcha I have is that, although I requested a wakeup call, it never came. Fortunately I had set two other alarms so we had no problem.

Beds were meh. pillows were not good. No breakfast. No room service. No pool. bare bones. coffee in the lobby wasn't 24/7 even though it's next to the airport and some might want this for their flights...also breakfast of some kind would be great. Had to pay for parking $10/night

OLD. Toilet would not flush, TV did not work, phone dead and no WIFI. AND! I cut my foot on a piece of glass imbedded in the carpet in the room. Dark dingy small bathroom. Oh they fixed the TV, and phone, which had bite marks in the cord? mice? and front desk staff could care less of your problems.

I don’t even know where to start with my review, so I’ll try to highlight the ONLY decent aspects of the hotel. The location is convenient and the airport shuttle was fast. Otherwise there are atleast 10 reasons to avoid staying at this hotel. We booked our hotel stay in November, and we ended up having another friend coming with us so we called the hotel to make sure we were allowed to add one more guest in our room. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and not welcoming which tainted the beginning of our experience. Unfortunately the receptionist that I dealt with 80% of the time was a young woman at the front, I believe her name was Christina. She was unhelpful while we were trying to figure out the airport shuttle and dismissive of our later problems. As someone that’s worked in a hotel before, being welcoming and friendly is typically a non negotiable when it comes to hiring staff but I don’t think that was the case, unless she just decided not to like us. No smile and I had to come up with my own solutions for our biggest problem, our shower being so clogged with disgusting, old hair that it wouldn’t drain. We had planned our trip since November, delicately choosing what activities to do a timing out our days so not being able to shower was brutal. I had to speak to her twice about the shower not draining, which she told us that she couldn’t do anything about. So I had to respond mentioning that we just need someone to snake the drain or pour chemicals in it, and if they couldn’t do that, to move us to another room. I was patient and let her know that we’d go for breakfast and be back in a few hours and that we’d like it to be fixed and she said that maintenance would be in by 10 and could fix it. When we returned at 3, it still wasn’t fixed and when I touched base with front desk she hadn’t even passed along the message so we ended up being late to Taylor Swift, which was absolutely unavoidable but she was careless. I was really thankful that the lady we ran into at 3pm sent someone up right away to fix the drain, but it had no reason to take that long. Our other large issue was people randomly coming into our room, if happened 6 times while we were either napping or taking a moment to relax. Sometimes they’d knock and sometimes they’d just walk in, even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. Our smaller issues were stains on the carpet and our bedsheet, the smell of the rotten fridge was repulsive and definitely should be cleaned before any other poor guests stay in room 426. The water was cold in the morning when other guests were showering, no A/C and the window hardly opens. I’m very disappointed with our stay, problems happen and sometimes mistakes are made, but the most important part of customer service and hospitality is how you fix the problems and the young lady with the black hair (Christina) in the mornings was extremely unhelpful. We won’t stay at Red Lion again and we feel strongly that we are owed financial

I've stayed at this hotel for almost 10 years when I've come to Seattle! It's always a wonderful experience with clean, spacious rooms and, a great location from the SeaTac Airport! The staff is the main reason I've come back over and over again! Lia and the rest of the staff have treated me like family from the beginning!! I call Lia prior to coming and she always makes sure to have my regular room( creature of habit ) ready for me when I arrive!! Unfortunately, they're closing next month and I'm so sad but I had to finally write a long overdue review of my favorite hotel in Seattle!😍🥲🙏🏾 Thank you to Lia, Christine and the entire staff for everything over the years and if you're in the Seatac area before the end of February, please give this hotel a try!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

You can't beat the location which is literally across the street from the airport. They are consistently one of the most affordable rates in the area even during cruise season. Yes, this is an older property and you will see a few cosmetic blemishes but the hotel is clean and safe. My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the years....as often as every few months and we've always appreciated the value we've gotten. The loss of the onsite restaurant was disappointing as they had a great breakfast. The real gem of this property though isn't even the property itself. It is the people who have worked here for many years. We have seen the same familiar faces time and time again and we've always enjoyed meeting them and a having a quick chat with them. Whether it's the friendly housekeepers, or Lia at the front desk....they are who added the value to our stays here and always made us feel welcomed. I understand that the hotel will close permanently in a few weeks so I felt it was important to leave a review to convey our thanks for the many years of friendly service. To the staff: You are all masters at your profession, we wish the best to all of you.
