It was a clean and quiet room. Nice staff all around. Great place to stay. Nice setup for breakfast also.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean, but there was a musty smell in the room. Not sure if this was do to
the room being located above the pool. The breakfast had something for everyone which was very appreciated. I also enjoyed the convenience of the location right off the interstate and the parking lot. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Cedar Falls.

The room smelled of mildew and mold. Strongly smelled of mildew and mold. I kept the window open all night on a first floor unit. The sink and shower drains were clogged. The water was ankle deep in the shower when I finished my shower. The shower had not drained by the time I finished breakfast and even when I checked out. The side outside door by my room would not lock. Between the open door and the open window, I didn’t feel safe. The breakfast food kept running out and it wasn’t that busy; staff was inattentive.
I’ve stayed in more than three dozen different motels/hotels this past year. This was, overall, the absolute worst. I could hardly wait to get out. I’ve had weirder, but not as bad.

I waited 10 minutes to check in with a staff person, not seeming to know what to do with the customer in front of me. He didn’t greet me when I came in or say anything while I waited patiently. He needs some customer service skills.

Room smelled musty and bed sheets were damp from the humidity in the room. I also found a dead bug in one of our bath towels. We also waited quite awhile to get our room keys as no one noticed we were at the front desk and there was no way to alert anyone we were there.

This is a great little hotel. It is not fancy, but is clean, quiet, friendly, and has a very nice breakfast with lots of variety. It even has a pool. I would definitely stay here again!

No elevator. 2 floors. Needs exterior door maintenence. No liners in ice bucket or trashcans. Beds cheap.
