My suite was beautiful and spacious (although rice grains were left in the sink 👀). Everything was fine until I was suddenly jarred by loud banging at my door. I jumped up to look out the peephole and they started turning my door handle, pushing on my door, trying to get in.
When I look out of the peephole there were two strange men there. I asked what they wanted, and one identified himself as “Engineering “, and said that they thought my room was vacant…then left. I immediately call the front desk to verify if someone was supposed to be there and the first associate nor the second that got on the line was aware of anyone scheduled to come to the room. This of course concerned me and I told them to call the police and look into this.
At least 30 minutes later I call the front desk back to follow up, and only THEN was I advised that there was service scheduled for my room, but that an associate failed to update the status of my room as occupied. This associate I spoke with, who identified themself as the manager on duty, was very passive and not too apologetic about what had happened. She claimed that proper procedure was followed, and that it was the engineering manager with a service person and he banged on my door and tried to enter quickly the way he did because he’d thought the room was vacant.
This makes NO SENSE to me! Since when does hotel staff behave in that way??? I was literally terrified! There was a much better way to handle this!!!

Good location and spacious rooms. However there was maintenance on the adult pool and hot tub for almost 3 days.

This is by far hands down the best hotel and the room I had was by far the best room on the beach. Ok I haven’t seen all the rooms in all the hotels on the beach but I’ve been blessed to stay in 4-5 different hotels and this hotel and room was amazing. The size of the room the amenities in the room. The quiet and cleanliness of the hotel. The friendliness of the staff. The proximity to Pocahontas
(excellent breakfast spot). Ample free parking that was just around the corner from the hotel. LOVED IT ALL. Loved it so much that I already have 2 more trips on the booked/reserved. I don’t think I’ll stay at another hotel if I can help it. This is my spot when I visit VA Beach.

Waited for clean towels for two days. Parking garage was a block and a half away. Elevator in parking garage did not work. My handicapped husband (heart issues) had to walk down five sets of stairs. One of the pools was being renovated so it had no water. Indoor pool had scum on the surface. No one attending the front desk. Was told Valet would drive us to get our car when leaving but no Valet could be found and then was told they would not bring us to parking garage anyway. Very disappointed. Please know that I will be requesting a refund!

Overall a nice room, staff were very professional and helpful. The vending machines were not stocked well on any floor. We had to ask for bedding for the pull out couch. Elevator was out for one day at the hotel and was out the whole stay at the parking garage but overall a good place.

Great location and beach view from the ocean front suites. Suite was large and kitchen was decently equipped. Good water pressure in shower, although the bathroom was just average size. Indoor and outdoor pools/spas were great. Staff at front desk was oftentimes unhelpful with simple requests. Took three requests to get the kitchen faucet fixed, and no one knew whether the hotel had recycling for plastics, etc. In any event, we would probably stay there again.

Clean room, convenient and friendly staff.
Excellent view on beachfront. Parking is in a garage 2 blocks away and elevator in rhe garage was not working our entire stay. Not bad unless you have to park on an upper level.

风景太棒了。附近有海滩栈道和很棒的餐厅。如果我再来这个城市，还会预订这家酒店。
