Mixed Experience,Warm Welcome, Cleanliness a no

Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made for a welcoming start. The room itself was a comfortable size for two and felt thoughtfully arranged. However, the bathroom was a major concern—there was visible mold on the shower ceiling, which signals a serious lapse in cleaning and maintenance. That kind of oversight really impacts the overall impression. A bit more attention to hygiene would go a long way in making the stay feel safe and cared for.

No tv signal..earlier or later when i got back to my room..no one was at the desk even when calling them.

The stay was eye-opening, though not in a good way. The room carried a sharp odor, the carpet had multiple stains, and several surfaces were obviously not cleaned. Even the headboard was sticky, and the desk chair was missing a leg—hardly what you’d expect in any well-maintained hotel.

Service at the front desk reflected the same lack of care: little acknowledgment when you arrive, almost inaudible communication, credit cards left on the counter instead of handed back, and no room number mentioned with the key.

If this were a budget roadside inn, it might be easier to overlook. But this is Hyatt, a brand I’ve trusted for consistent quality. The gap between reputation and reality here was striking. I left wondering if the Hyatt sign out front was just for decoration.
