The floor in the room was dirty. One of the sheets had stains on them. The head of the shower was falling apart and one of the lamp shades was dirty and falling apart. Just walking around the room in socks or bare feet we got dirty. Pool had piles of dirt on the bottom and hot tub was cold. The pool was warmer than the hot tub.

Place is run down. Holes in the wall all over the room.

The beach view is now a parking lot for the ferry service right behind the motel.

The advertised breakfast is cheap muffins and coffee.

The lights outside some of the rooms were broken.

Our shower curtain rod was broke. Vents were filthy and the AC unit rattled so bad we had to shut it off at night.

Checked into our room, and after unloading everything we discovered the lack of housekeeping! The floors were dirty black. I complained to front desk and he gave me a mop, still black! I asked for cleaner and rags, still black! FD offered to move me into another room but after I inspected it, it had filthy floors as well! I ended up going to Family Dollar and spending $30 in cleaner to get the flooring clean. The hotel is extremely dated! It smelled moldy and the sofa needs to go to a landfill as it smelled horrible! I am pretty generous with leaving housekeeping a tip if the room is clean but not this time! They need to properly train there staff or hire new ones….

Perfect for nights stay and being on the go!

Little bit older rooms that are redone, perfect for sleeping and being on the go. Pool is decent. Great for kids. Shower was nice! Beds were a little uncomfortable but did the job! Staff was great and very friendly!

Sorry I can’t really rate this hotel. It was horrible. This is the second Days Inn I’ve stayed in two weeks. I paid outrages rate for this hotel in Mackinac city. The hotel was old, missing 3/4 of the trim around the inside entry door leaving big gaps to the outside. The bathroom sink and shower/tub. had handles that you could barely pull to have the water come on. The tub had no drain stop so you could take a bath The sliding glass door to the patio had a screen door that you can’t really open it kept falling off of its track. It was a horrible. I’m not one to ever complain, but I will never stay at another Days Inn. again as this experience was so awful.

I had booked 2 rooms. My son and his wife said they had same issues. In addition there room smelled horrible had to go buy air fresheners.

Last the hotel listed breakfast included. That’s a laugh a muffin from a convenience store and coffee is not breakfast!!!

I would never recommend this property. It was dirty and hadn't been updated since it was built I believe. The light fixture was filthy and dangling from the ceiling in the bathroom. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The mattress on the bed was disgusting. There were holes in the walls. I would NEVER stay at this place again and not recommend it to anyone. I have placed a complaint with corporate. Terrible, Terrible motel!!

It was ok. The front desk person was extremely kind and personable. The room was very clean but needed some attention/ updating, little things, like broken lampshades, marred walls, locks that were difficult to operate. The metal canopy and deck outside the room was extremely noisy with the rain, the "lake view" was completely blocked by a large parking lot directly between the building and the lake. No microwave, coffee supplies were sweetners only, no creamer. They are small details but in my opinion those can add up.
