Very old and dated facility. The room is satisfactory but remaining parts of the building, including the elevator were very old and showed a lot of wear. Breakfast was satisfactory, but not great. Staff however were very nice.

We were just inspected in November. Our elevator door racks because we increased the open time from 3 seconds to 10 seconds to provide our guest and housekeepers

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. This hotel is a bit dated but certainly adequate for a night off the road! Especially for the discounted price!!

酒店回复: Our hotel is full of construction workers 4 to 6 days a week. our hotel was remodeled in 2019-2020. It looked very nice then. We have a remodel scheduled starting this spring. and that will refresh our property again. We have one maintenance man covering 3 properties right now and it is all he can do to keep up with fixing ptac units, door locks , broken toilets and basic maintenance.We hope you will visit us after our remodel is complete. Our elevator was just inspected on 11/13/25 and passed without any violations. I just thought I would let you know.

My room wasn’t clean. Commode was nasty, shower was dirty, sink was dirty, bar of soap was left in shower. Sheets and pillow cases had stains on them.

The head housekeeper and mysef will have a meeting with the housekeeperto remind them to please check the sheets very closely to insure the sheets are properly cleaned and free of stains and tears.

First room we got the bathroom was old and rusted fixtures. Toilet wouldn’t flush so I asked to be moved. No problem after that. New room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very nice.

Room smelled of excessive rug powder, covering animal smells. "White" wash cloths were brown, ripped carpet, and there was something dark in color smudged down the front of the toilet. I took pics of it all.

Our stay during the Virginia State Skeet Champions
There were a bunch of individuals on our floor that were raising Cane up and down the hallway, slamming doors which made the windows in our room. Two nights of no sleep.

酒店回复: I apologize for your unpleasant experience at our hotel. Did you notify the front desk regarding the noise? We would have told them either stay in your room and quiet down or you will be asked to leave the property. If notified, we have no problem evicting guest from the property. Sometimes we don't hear the noise. Being it was on the second floor, the front desk should have heard the noise. The front desk attendant that was on duty, usually takes charge of anything that could be disruptive to our guest being able to get a good nights sleep. I don't know how she didn't hear the noise. I will speak to her about the complaint.

Elevator
The elevator door was acting wacky. Didn't want to close properly. Almost changed hotels because it would have been hard for my elderly mother to climb stairs.

It door racks like that due to us increasing the closing time from 3 seconds to 10 seconds. Between the housekeeping staff taking so long to get their carts in the elevator and some guest taking too long to get the luggage cart in elevator, it went into saftey mode so many times it burned up a $3000. dollar circuit board. The elevator technician suggested increasing the hold time on the door, so thqat is what we did. We may decrease the hold open time to 6 seconds but if the elevator goes unto safety mode too many times we will have to increase it to 10 seconds to avoid damaging the circuit again. Our elevatior is inspected yearly and can be viewed at the entry door to the elevator. We also have our techniciasn come and does a monthly inspection. I hope this eases your mind regarding our elevator. We appreciat your business and we hope you will visit us again.
