Snoopy people, always watching your every move when you go in and out of the hotel room. Then asking me—while I’m with my child—“Just you two?” as if we were trying to cheat them. I was also only given one key, and when I explained that I left my key at home, the front desk simply said they would open the door for me and refused to give me another key. I felt like I was being treated as if I were doing something wrong just for staying at the hotel. Never again.

I wrote this review previously, but somehow it got connect to another hotel, where I have not stayed. Since I have stayed at this Econo Lodge many times since the earlier review, including this week, I am repeating the review here: I seldom have an even better experience than I expected, but it happened here. I read previous reviews and was skeptical, but discovered they were warranted. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean overall, and more well appointed than I expected. Even the continental breakfast surprised me -- a waffle iron, good choice of cereal, muffins, juice. Not everything was perfect, but even with a few minor room issues, I absolutely will be staying at the Beaumont Econo Lodge again.

Traveling from Southeast Louisiana to El Paso Texas. It was a last minute booking in an unfamiliar area and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Recent renovation and we had a nice clean Comfortable king size bed and the room also had a little alcove with a love seat , reading chair and coffee table. We were able to take good hot showers and get a good night's sleep to pick our journey up again in the morning. Combined with a really nice staff and a very affordable rate, I would call it an excellent stop👍
