Locations most convenient for my event. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but fine. I would stay here again.

First of all there was no pressure in the shower. The room smelled the AC wasn't cold.There were cracks in the ceiling where their obviously was a leak . The front desk was polite and helpful.\nFor the price.\nYou get what you paid for. The pool was down for a day.
The hallway smell like **** smoke.. I would definitely reconsider staying there again.

The hotel was very clean. We rarely saw any one at the front office. Had to use the phone to get someone. The continentil breakfast was Not good. Eggo waffles, pop tarts, Pkg oatmeal, toast. The eggo waffles were on a plate in the small fridge. Coffee weak and not marked. Had no idea if it was regular or decaf. Knowing this one can know to buy breakfast. There's a nice restaurant not to far away. Sams family dining,the food was Never a disappointment. Super 8 was Very clean, outside and inside.There was a extra deposit of 60 dollars in case one broke something. Easy excess to I88 a plus

Noisy eighbors.
The people in the room next door (109) were quite noisy, including after 10)) PM. Occasionally I could hear people walking across the floor on the room above me, but not too noisy.

Parking was very nice and the rooms very clean and set up nice, kinda hard for older people if they are set up on second floor no elevator but overall great place to stay. 10 min max drive to all the stores and places to eat.

You get what you pay for
Pet fee is $15 per day. There's a $60 deposit that's refunded as long as there are no damages. I've stayed at this location twice for the pet option and price. For the most part, the place is relatively quiet even with pets allowed. Plenty of grass for dogs to do their business. Most people seem to pick up after their dogs, but there are a couple who don't, and no one else goes out there to clean up after them. I haven't come across any bed bugs, and the rooms haven't smelled like other dogs. The beds aren't that comfortable and the breakfast is definitely not worth trying, but you get what you pay for. The female employees I've spoken to on the phone or in person have exceptional customer service. There is one male employee that gives me creeper vibes. Like 'install a 2-way mirror and watch you from behind the walls' kind of vibes, but I've only seen him there one night. It's close enough to the downtown area and NIU.
