The room was spotless with nice amenities. I loved that the radio was playing when I arrived to some classic tunes. Firepit outside was nice and I loved that bikes with and without baskets were available to ride into town to see the historic town and shops. Some classic games and books were available as well to use next to the indoor fireplace which was so nice.

Everything was completely perfect except the bed. The mattress was old and had indentions and one side sloped toward the floor. For the money, it would seem the mattress would have been newer and top of the line. Otherwise, everything was easy and great.

Room was cutely decorated and comfortable. Loved the coffee/tea and snack area in the room. The Fellows tea kettle was perfect. Bed was low, but comfy. Parking was plentiful. The continental breakfast was bare bones and the banana bread was pretty bland. Husband did not have hot water both days but the desk person gave us a small refund for the inconvenience. Prices were quite high due to leaf season. Fire pit and lobby were cozy.

While I find nothing wrong with the hotel and the staff, I was quite disappointed as I was expecting a 4 Star experience and this is definately not a 4 Star hotel. It doesn't even meet the criteria for such. I the future I will not base my decisions on the Star rating. This disappointment certainly had a negative effect on my trip.

Definitely a wonderful find in the area . Rooms were pristine with great outdoor ambience. Just very likited dining options but Main St is about 5 mins walk. The morning coffee with Continental breakfast was a very nice touch. When hotels provide you little things like a free coffee and breakfast makes the hotel very inviting and home-y. That was a nice touch! Wish tours were offered by front desk and that they are more knowledgeable about the area. That would have been more ideal!

There was no hand soap at the bathroom sink. Upon asking, staff said they were out of stock. Upon me asking they gave the large bath body wash bottle which I kept by sink
One of the two queen beds was missing a liner bed sheet
